"Simplify the tax code" is one of those things that sure sounds nice, until you realize it's just a focus-group tested catchphrase from Frank Luntz or some comparable shitbag to use as cover for "cut taxes for my rich buddies even more."

Yeah a focus group tested catchphrase, completely different than "Hope and Change", "Yes we can" and "Believe".
