What's really dragging down the Postal Service ...the GW Bush Postal Accountability and Enhancement Act of 2006.

lol .....there are people working there with masters degrees because they got better pay and benefits working at the PO.....and this includes quite a few Vets.....

They don't run around lying about fake 'labor shortages' and then running to the Fed to get big stacks of green cards. There are lots of people who will apply at 60 companies and might get one interview if they're lucky, and that includes all the liars at companies claiming ' they're desperate n stuff'. Most probably use software to weed out 'undesirables', but never bothered to test their 'automated systems' to check what they're weeding out. Most people won't even bother with posting their personal into into such systems, they're garbage and no telling what psycho gimps these companies allow access to that info.

All they're doing is tryong to sucker taxpayers into 'training' more employees for them and glut the market with skilled people and pay them minimum wages is all. Been that way since the early 1980's, especially in the software an computer industries. See how many trade school graduates you can get to move to Silly Con Valley for $12-$14 an hour. You will get a few really desperate people maybe, from DeVry or somewhere with huge loans to pay off, that's about it.

did trump tell you he put him in charge?.....is that it?......the President does not appoint the PMG ....the Board Of Governors do that.....if that were true dont you think biden would have shit canned him by now?......

I found this.

In 1970, Congress overhauled the structure of the Postal Service to end this sordid tradition of patronage by giving the agency substantial independence. To oversee USPS’s activities, Congress established a nine-member board of governors who are nominated by the president and confirmed by the Senate.
No more than five members of the board may belong to the same political party. Once confirmed to the board, governors can only be removed by the president “for cause”; that means their jobs are safe unless the president can show that they engaged in malfeasance or extreme neglect of duty.
The board of governors, in turn, selects the postmaster general, who is not subject to Senate approval. And once appointed, the postmaster general can only be removed by the board, though it need not justify its decision.

This structure, in short, is why Louis DeJoy remains postmaster general under Biden. The board of governors is dominated by Trump appointees; Senate Republicans refused to confirm President Barack Obama’s nominees to the board, leaving vacancies that Trump promptly filled. Today, there are four Republicans and two Democrats on the board, plus three vacancies.
