Neither. Jordan is persona non-grata among moderate Republicans and no Republican will vote for Jeffries since no Democrat voted to save McCarthy and it would mean the end of that Republican's political career if they voted for Jeffries. It appears McHenry does not want the job. I wouldn't be a bit surprised to have them turn back to McCarthy and leave Gaetz twisting in the wind.
