What will happen if Trump go to jail befote inauguration ?

And no conviction which the TDS desperately need to hang around Trumps neck during his term
It is considered a final order of conviction under NY Law. Trump can appeal the judgement without appealing the sentence, but I don't know what the Appeals court would do. Reverse and remand is the normal decision if they find a trial was not fair.

If they say the charges were not warranted at all, they could dismiss the indictment and judgement in it's entirety.

We'll have to wait and see how Trump plays it out. The "conviction" didn't hurt him at the ballot box- most people already know it was a sham trial, and just a portion of the larger lawfare campaign to take him down.

It doesn't really hurt him to just let it go. Put it in the pile of other failed attempts to keep him from being reelected and move on...

It’s what you consider and wish the law did

We shall see. My understanding of our flawed legal system is that the appeals judge can only review the decisions made by the previous judge for legal continuity, not the actual evidence or procedures of the case. But... no matter.
Tons of legal errors. It will be reversed.

After he's sentenced, I expect them there here people who say that he's not a felon because he hasn't been sentenced, to attend my BBQ. Crow is the main entrée.
Yeah see just like he wasn’t impeached and isn’t a convict, you have jumped ahead into fantasy land and pretending it has already occurred.

The sentence is unconditional discharge. It is essentially a judicial pardon- no penalty of any kind, not even a fine.

No, the discharge from the court does not equal a pardon.

Trump will always be a felon, with its restrictions, unless and until a governor pardons him.

This is all just for show.
Mershon is a liberal Dimocrat, and he wants to see to it that Dimocrats can have their orgasms by being able to say Trump is a convicted convict.

A New York court has scheduled for January 10 the sentencing of US President-elect Donald Trump in the case of porn actress Stormy Daniels, concerning the falsification of documents. Thus, the decision will be announced 10 days before his inauguration, which will take place on January 20.
He was never going to jail for that.
