Many belligerent groups, self-styling themselves as "militias," have vowed to patrol polling sites across the nation tomorrow in order to intimidate voters and cause them to turn away from the voting booth. One of the Presidential candidates himself has asked them to do this.

If you witness voter suppression/intimidation at your voting site there are steps you can take to do something about it. If you report what you've seen to local poll workers and they are unwilling or unable to do anything about it you can contact the Lawyers Committee:

Inside or outside a polling location, the first thing to do is tell a poll worker. They can then address the issue, inform election officials, or request help from police if needed.

Voters who witness any issues should also call the Election Protection hotline, 866-OUR-VOTE, which is maintained by the Lawyers' Committee:

  • English: 866-OUR-VOTE (866-687-8683)
  • Spanish: 888-VE-Y-VOTA (888-839-8682)
  • Asian Languages: 888-API-VOTE (888-274-8683)
  • Arabic: 844-418-1682
The committee will record the incident and, if needed, dispatch a volunteer lawyer to address it. Lawyers can also file emergency challenges in court, where judges can issue injunctions, such as by ordering polling sites that opened late or that have very long lines to stay open later.

The Justice Department also has a hotline, which voters should also call after contacting Election Protection or if the Election Protection hotline is busy.

Justice Department voting rights discrimination hotline: 800-253-3931

If you feel endangered, witness violence, or feel threatened by violence, you are urged to call 911.

For Law abiding citizens don't approach the New Black Panthers. Voting for Trump and forcing them to pay support for their kids who are members of Black Lies Matter could be hazardous to your health.

Hmmm, the Democrats are worried about voter suppression and fraud, but concerned with Trump claiming the election is rigged.

Interesting.

I'm concerned with lives. These people need to be removed from polling sites lest they gun people down in whatever revolution they're imagining themselves to be a part of.

Did you feel the same way about these guys?

Yes I do. And not only were they reported, but people have endlessly perseverated on those 2 people for years now. And nobody even asked them to be there. But now when you're candidate is calling for that to happen en masse on his behalf, I hope you're equally concerned.

I hope to see groups of white thugs at polling places with guns and night sticks intimidating liberals. After all, turnabout is fair play, right?
