What the Palestinian Authority Thinks Concerning a Palestinians State in the WB

As was Lebanon, Syria, Jordan....

What is your point?

Tinnie, I really admire your tenacity! These guys just don't get the Fact that the Palestinians were screwed out of their ancestral land by Western Colonial Fiat and they try to sweeten it with Bull Shit but no-one will take a bite.

And you and I never will...sure I'll settle for a peace if the Palestinians get Justice...

And the world even in AIPAC controlled America, is beginning to see the Palestinian side as the recent UN recognition with Western ally Approval and abstentions.

Keep 'em dancing!

Link ??

And they got screwed because they and their Arab friends opted for war. Instead of sharing the region with the Jews, they chose war and ended up with even lee then offered in the partition plan.

Sorry, no re-do's

Yea, you're got me there...They would not kiss ass, not even today...Opted for war, defending their lands to European Powers and invaders?

Yup, you got me, they supported the Arab Armies...but tell me, how could they opt for war if they were not a nation? Only Nations can declare war on another nation.

Indeed, and Palestine had no army.

It was the Arab nations who opted for war, the Palestinians were part of that war.

The Arabs lost that war, which means so did the Palestinians. Now instead of having the land allotted to them in the partition plan, they had much less.

Even Abbas said it was a mistake not to accept the partition plan, would you like a link for that ?

They were already sharing their country with the native Jews.

It wasn't country. It was a region that was captured by the British during WW1.

The whole point of the 1947 partition plan was to GIVE the Palestinians a country.

Except, you already know this, but you chose to be a parrot and repeat the same lies.

Toast, by your-own words, a fluctuating imagination...On one hand "there was never a nation of Palestine," on the other they are belligerents for defending their home!"

What person on this Earth would not defend their homes and families from an invading foreign army?

Pbel, Tinmore, I feel that by reading my posts you guys think I hate the Palestinians and am happy they don't have a country, but that's not the case. They do deserve a country, but their government has made some bad choices in the last 65 years.
I have nothing against Palestinians, and I never have. i want Israelis and Palestinians to live in peace.
When I was in elementary school and high school (yes, both Jewish schools ;) ) my teachers always said how one day that peace will happen between Arabs and Israelis and they taught us peaceful Hebrew songs..

BTW, I have no idea why I mentioned that about my teachers, but just saying , I want peace just as much as the next guy.

That has nothing to do with having a country.

Oh, and by using your logic, the Israelis were also defending their home and land when the Arabs invaded , so what's your point ?

When 5 nations tried to destroy the tiny little newly founded state by pushing the 'Jews to the sea'

Would you like some quotes ?

1948 Arab?Israeli War - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Result Israeli victory; Palestinian Arab defeat; Arab League strategic failure;[

Everyone who knows about that war knows full well they lost, you're the only person I ever heard say otherwise

Please Toast, I'm busting at the ribs laughing at Sophomoric answers that somehow Israel existed by a Western Power control of the UN which declare an Israeli State by a declaration on somebody elses homes and property without their consent!

I declare that all of the middle east is mine virtue that I am a descendent of the Roman Empire. And I can produce a declaration .

That's how the Arabs see it.

After the 1948 war, Israel was established on a more extensive territory than recommended in the partition plan. By entering into the Armistice Agreement with Egypt in 1949, Israel, demonstrated a sufficient level of stable and effective government of the territory to be recognised as a state by other states and the UN. Israel was effectively and lawfully established as a state, on the armistice territory, by secession from the Mandate of Palestine. A state for the Palestinians living in the Mandate of Palestine was never created and this unrealised goal still constitutes one of the core issues of the conflict.

Is that why all the fighting was in Palestine where Israel troops were before the start of the 1948 war
