this is just one site I could use to make my point. We'd be here all day if I mentioned all the sites that fit in that category!

But anyway.. bidum was letting ANYONE at all cross the border. Terrorists crossed, at least 60 apprehended and God knows how many Got-Aways there were. He didn't care. He had to make good on his campaign promises.. you know, it was essentially one promise he made: to hate Trump and all things Trump including sound policy at the border and everywhere else.

And now that things aren't looking good for the Demonrat party, bidum.. well, he has to do something so he starts by deporting some of the illegals. Those poor illegals.. I sincerely, genuinely feel sorry for them now. First they get their hopes up, thinking.. Finally, maybe I can have a good.. an American life. And now Bidum pulls the rug out from under them to make cheap political points.

Well, just who is going to be impressed?

Anyone?

This is not about votes, it is about what the laws in the US are about immigration.

Thousands get deported on an almost daily basis, Venezuelans and others who do not have a relative, etc to be their sponsor or base in the US to allow them to stay while processing their request.

Call it what you will. Do the research.

It is based on the Laws of the country.

Law?

You must be kidding.

When the president can just snap his fingers and the law changes overnight?

Some law. Harumph.

Gee, some Americans have respected their country's laws and God's as well (latter once based on former) all or virtually all their lives but we never get to be president..

guess we're just not willing to steal to get it..

:sigh2:

the ironies never end

What if Trump took a half a trillion dollars from the tax payers and gave it to his voters to forgive loans and then he emptied our emergency oil reserves to bring gas down before the election?... what would you libs say if Trump did that?....

Both Clyburn and Maxine Waters employ their family members with campaign money... lots of campaign money.... and their family members never show up to work....

You did not answer my post.
Making fun of what you do not know about, or do not care about, is not responding to the facts of every administration when it comes to deporting illegal immigrants.

All Presidents have done it, Trump did, this administration continues with the job it is supposed to do.

Your response is totally nonsensical meant to mislead people. Luckily not all people are as gullible as you wish them to be.

[ Supreme Court getting in the way of deporting illegals ]

The Supreme Court won’t allow the Biden administration to implement a policy that prioritizes deportation of people in the country illegally who pose the greatest public safety risk.

The court’s order Thursday leaves the policy frozen nationwide for now. The vote was 5-4 with conservative Justice Amy Coney Barrett joining liberal Justices Sonia Sotomayor, Elena Kagan and Ketanji Brown Jackson in saying they would have allowed the Biden administration to put in place the guidance.

The court also announced it would hear arguments in the case, saying they would be in late November.

The order is the first public vote by Jackson since she joined the court June 30following the retirement of Justice Stephen Breyer.

The justices were acting on the administration’s emergency request to the court following conflicting decisions by federal appeals courts over a September directive from the Homeland Security Department that paused deportation unless individuals had committed acts of terrorism, espionage or “egregious threats to public safety.”

In their Supreme Court filing, Texas and Louisiana argued that the administration’s guidance violates federal law that requires the detention of people who are in the U.S. illegally and who have been convicted of serious crimes. The states said they would face added costs of having to detain people the federal government might allow to remain free inside the United States, despite their criminal records.
The guidance, issued after Joe Biden became president, updated a Trump-era policy that removed people in the country illegally regardless of criminal history or community ties.
In a statement Friday, the Department of Homeland Security said that while it awaits a final ruling by the Supreme Court, Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers “will make enforcement decisions on a case-by-case basis in a professional and responsible manner, informed by their experience as law enforcement officials and in a way that best protects against the greatest threats to the homeland.”

Gee, maybe that's because there was a WALL

AND

Trump supported intercepting illegas AT THE FREAKING BORDER

And no way will I believe it if you say this table, which is likely bogus, includes those immediately deported by Border Patrol.

Both Clyburn and Maxine Waters employ their family members with campaign money... lots of campaign money.... and their family members never show up to work....
virtually all dimrat politicians do that.

the laws need to be changed.. but the ones who benefit from having things as they currently are.. the status quo.. are the ones who make or change laws..

nice work if you can get it

Progs rule on what they can do at the moment of power. Even if they lose in November, they already won. The great Socialist world government will come to pass or else. Many Prog voters will not like it when the monstrosity arrives.

Wall ? Fully finished? No it was not . It was mostly patched here and there and left unfinished.

And. Steve Bannon and friends stealing Millions which supporters sent to have the Wall built.

Paint it as you wish, ALL Presidents have followed the law to deport people who come in illegally.

And ....All administrations do have as many as they can, immigrants intercepted and immediately sent back over the border.

You are blowing nothing but hot and empty air.

you have no hope of turning things around??

I have a sliver of hope.. sometimes.. or is it wishful thinking?

On the same day in May 2019, the Army Corps of Engineers awarded a pair of contracts worth $788 million to replace 83 miles of fence along the southwest border.

The projects were slated to be completed in January 2020, the Corps said then. Four months into this year, however, the government increased the value of the contracts by more than $1 billion, without the benefit of competitive bidding designed to keep costs low to taxpayers.

Within a year of the initial award, the value of the two contracts had more than tripled, to over $3 billion, even though the length of the fence the companies were building had only grown by 62%, to 135 miles. The money is coming from military counter-narcotics funding.

Those contract spikes were dramatic, but not isolated. A ProPublica/Texas Tribune review of federal spending data shows more than 200 contract modifications, at times awarded within just weeks or months after the original contracts, have increased the cost of the border wall project by billions of dollars since late 2017. This is particularly true this year, in the run-up to next week’s election. The cost of supplemental agreements and change orders alone — at least $2.9 billion — represents about a quarter of all the money awarded and more than what Congress originally appropriated for wall construction in each of the last three years.

President Donald Trump made construction of the border wall a signature issue during his 2016 campaign, claiming that his skills as a builder and businessman would allow his administration to build the wall in a more cost-efficient way than his predecessors. “You know the wall is almost finished,” he told a crowd of supporters in Arizona recently, and they weren’t paying a “damn cent” for the border wall. It was “compliments of the federal government.”

Yet an accounting of border wall contracts awarded during his presidency shows that his administration has failed to protect taxpayer interests or contain costs and stifled competition among would-be builders, experts say. In all, Trump’s wall costs about five times more per mile than fencing built under the Bush and Obama administrations.

Experts say the frequent use of so-called supplemental agreements to add work or increase the price has amounted to giving no-bid contracts to a small group of pre-selected construction firms, many with executives who have donated to Trump or other Republicans.

Well which is it. Biden is letting everyone in, or Biden isn't letting anyone in??? You really can't suck and blow at the same time.

I also notice you're linking to a Rupert Murdoch publication which is a Questionable Source so it's not like Murdoch won't say ANYTHING that pops into his head to smear Joe Biden.

How much is new?

Various types of fencing totalling 654 miles (just over 1,000 km) were already in place before Mr Trump became president in 2017.
These ran through the states of California, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas.

US-Mexico border barrier route

The Trump administration say they've completed more than 400 miles of border wall since then.

It's 452 miles (727 km) in total, according to the latest US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) information (4 January 2021).

However, only 80 miles of new barriers have been built where there were none before - that includes 47 miles of primary wall, and 33 miles of secondary wall built to reinforce the initial barrier.

The vast majority of the 452 miles is replacing existing structures at the border that had been built by previous US administrations.

Maybe I am wrong but it rather looks like the dimrats are attempting to derail this thread

Gee.. so unlike them to paint outside the lines..

Usually they are just so polite and follow every jot and every tittle of the rules and laws.. so I am shocked, utterly shocked!
