The poll has a few suggestions, but add your own if you prefer please.

It's not new, Space Command was founded in 1982 under then President Reagan.

Doesn’t matter it will be a distant memory once Trump is gone

Star Blazers! Owait, is that the name for Japan's?

Spaceballs!

The Rocket Robin Hoods.

Space waste. Then re-name all the foreign offence bases "waste of space".

Waste-of-*******-money

So how do we stop an asteroid heading toward Earth if we dont have something to use to stop it?

And you think protecting our satellites is a waste of money?

You're an idiot.
NASA is already equipped, ready, willing and able to do whatever needs to be done. Why come up with a whole new branch of the military, is all I'm saying.

Kevlar?

How do you stop a gigantic bullet? Waste a bunch of money developing tech we already have?

Why do we need a new government agency dedicated to it? What's the rest of the world doing about it? What are they paying?

And you think protecting our satellites is a waste of money?
Protect them from WHAT?

NASA is a civilian agency and their charter prohibits the operation of weaponized space craft.

Classified military spacecraft are launched from Vandenberg AFB in California.

At this time, NASA is incapable of launching any manned space vehicles.
