Evidently he was not invited to the party but his parents brought him because they were afraid to leave him alone.
At the party, he was acting strangely and got into a huge fight with his parents.

They were killed shortly afterwards

He is schizophrenic but doesnt meet the standard for legal insanity. He has the psychosis first the addiction is self medication

. CA does have an insanity defense that if successful would put him in a locked mental hospital

He cant be declared sane Schizophrenic is chronic.

Psychotics cant be rehabilitated only medicated and controlled
