Zone1 What separates Christianity from all other religions

Anyone who says all religions are the same is a liar

What separates Christianity from all other religions ?

The story is more patently absurd than others because it is built around the most extraordinary start and finish .

First, some huge wing flapping angel effectively rapes a married woman .
And at the end a man -- same bastard offspring ----- who is nailed to a cross , levitates into the sky .

Which is why Cultists sell it to youngsters by bribing them with Christmas presents and then later , Easter Eggs.

The kids are mind controlled from the start and will later repeat these Cult stories quite straight faced and with complete seriousness .

Religions are different, for sure. But many have a central theme; fear (and/or violence) and magic.
And then we have some religions with the exact same stories slightly modified. Like the abrahamic religions and Sumerians.

Will wait for the English translation before commenting

The need to to tear down, denigrate, and mock the religion, faith, belief of others is the first indication one's own beliefs haven't a leg to stand on. The first concession that these new beliefs are puny and frail is that need to trash the beliefs of others.

The second concession and admission that these new beliefs can't hold a candle to what already is, present your own witless summary of them.

luiza, your own beliefs/expectations that you cannot present or speak of with anything more than a tease is a great indicator of a confession that these expectations are wan, perhaps even infirm. If you belief you truly have something, then have confidence and be upfront about what you have instead of continually mocking what others already possess. Henry Ford had no need to tear down and mock the horse and buggy in order to get people to flock to using automobiles instead.

From my vantage point, all religions seem to indicate you have your good deeds and bad deeds, and you just hope that your good deeds outweigh your bad deeds to have a good after life.

Christianity is not like that.

As for fear, without it, you would live a very short life. Like anything else, fear has it's place so long as it is implemented in a healthy manner.

In fact, those that don't believe in an afterlife tend to think that their bad deeds will not be held against them at all, so long as they get away with them in this life. I think that if more people understood they would be held to account, it would curb a lot of the crap we see in the world now.

Anyone who says all religions are the same is a liar

why would anyone claim all religions are the same - could it be those from the desert, unfortunately have the same origin -

all three desert religion bibles have the same preamble of distortions - false commandments, hereditary idolatry - religion of apartheid and dishonest original setting for humanity ... making them more the same throughout than dissimilar.

Why? Because it is a feel good way to say that all religions lead to God.

Make you feel all fuzzy and warm inside thinking what people believe does not really matter because in the end they will be right anyway, so who cares?

It's not about behavior modification; it's about a heart transformation.

I didn't have time to watch the video. But for me what distinguishes Christianity from all other religions is that it is based on a personal relationship rather than on rules, doctrine, dogma.

Well The Sage of Main Street, you can be snarky and rank a person's honest personal witness as 'fake news' until the cows come home and it will still be the person's personal witness.
But for me what distinguishes Christianity from all other religions is that it is based on a personal relationship rather than on rules, doctrine, dogma.

does that make a public religion true, their personal witness ... by omitting their false commandments - catechisms and 4th century bible of forgeries and fallacies ... et al.

everything that is contrary to the teachings of liberation theology, self determination those in the 1st century gave their lives for.

- who's to say which is more relevant.

A person's personal experience may or may not have anything at all to do with the prejudicial opinions of somebody else.

Your Cult beliefs will stand or fall regardless of my beliefs .
YourTime is over imho, and we all will surely very soon see the shallowness of Cult Christianity and its complete inner rot. Equally for other Abrahamic cult religions .

As a small sign of how desperate your Cult is , why did they store the Pope in a freezer before pronouncing his death for Easter ?
If you find that comment amazing , then explain the freezer burns on him plus the bruising on his face, despite attempts to disguise his appearance ?
How could they think of hiding the fact that he had a stroke , fell and died some days before announcing their Fake narrative ?
And even worse, using a double in that period when "seen" publicly -- Vance being an example of someone tricked by this crass deceit .

Laugh and disbelieve as much as you will --- but sensibly explain the freezer burns and bruising .
Another fucking miracle I suppose, to test the Faith of believers --- please don't try that well trodden route .

I freely admit my own belief is confined largely to evidenced matters.

My observation is that it is the evidence of the beliefs of others that is trashed.
