In his remarks, Panetta said the initial reports of the attack were given "almost immediately" to the U.S. Embassy in the Libyan capital of Tripoli.
Within 17 minutes, Panetta said, an unarmed, unmanned surveillance aircraft was dispatched to give U.S. officials a better idea of what was happening. It arrived at the site about 70 minutes after the attack, he said.
Soon, Panetta and Dempsey met with President Barack Obama, the secretary told lawmakers.

Even knowing that you'll be dead of Ebola within the week, you still have the courage to crack jokes.
Good for you, Vigilante. Your courage is an inspiration to us all.
The OP is what happens when a campfire story is told to rubes before any facts are known. Once the facts come in which completely debunk the campfire story, it is too late. The campfire story has become the reality for the rubes. They are too far gone to ever be in touch with reality again. It is a waste of time to tell them they believe in manufactured bullshit. They believe in cartoons as reality.

The CIA in Benghazi, with help from some Libyan militia members, launched a counter assault and rescued everyone except the ambassador and Sean Smith who were already dead. They recovered Smiths body but couldn't find the ambassador and evacuated them all the the CIA Annex where they waited for the response team from Tripoli. They were all on their way out of Benghazi within 12 hours of the attack.

Why don't you give us a timeline for these actions instead of crowing about the removal of bodies 12 hours after the attack?
