What part of the Federali Gov is Shut Down?

And then God (Trump) asked his followers dozens of times.....'And who's gonna pay for the wall?' .......and said followers who were anxious to get to the promised land then shouted 'Mexico'. Not once, not twice, but many times.
I don't get how ANY American could be against securing our borders. What is it that you hate about secure borders?
No one is.

Riots Loom As Food Stamp Cash Will Run Out By End Of January If Government Shutdown Continues

"According to the Department of Agriculture,
if this government shutdown stretches into February there won’t be money for food stamps.

"And it certainly looks like this shutdown could last for quite a while, because President Trump is not backing down on his demand for border wall funding, and the Democrats have pledged not to give him a single penny.

"So a few weeks from now, approximately 38 million people could be suddenly cut off from the food stamp program.

"If that scenario were to unfold, there is no telling what could happen. After just a few days, government workers are already freaking out about having their paychecks delayed.

"If people are getting this restless already, what will things look like when tens of millions of Americans are suddenly cut off from their primary source of food money?"

It is very interesting how libs downplay the idea of angry war veterans making demands but start into 'The natives be gettin' all riled up!' whenever there is any threat to welfare programs, lol.
Where have the downplayed it?

Plenty of people are for letting everyone in and asking questions later. You should know better.

I was born in '39, near the end of the Great Depression. People didn't have any jobs until the war started except for war effort jobs. Until 1946 just about everything was rationed and everyday necessities were scarce. After 1945 jobs opened up, people were employed and could afford to buy homes and cars. Nobody starved and I never saw any homeless. Those days homeless were called vagrants and run out of town. There were needy people and FDR started the welfare program. He certainly didn't see that it would become an industry with food stamps, Section 8 housing and all the other free shit. I don't like to see anyone hungry, poor and homeless but we are in the 5th generation of welfare families who have never worked a day in their lives. Welfare was intended to keep a family sustained until the breadwinner found a job but I have seen many people whine that they got more money on welfare than if they had a job. I say tough titty. Let them eat cake. Or grass. Or whatever.

The "golden years" of US capitalism spanned about four decades after WWII ended:
Share-of-total-us-income-1913-2015-1-768x424.png

Starting in the mid-'70s Europe and Japan had recovered and income inequality in this country began to grow until it is nearly at 1929 levels today.

The federal government did its part after WWII with the GI Bill and mortgage insurance (for white buyers). I started working in 1965 when a single minimum wage job would cover my entire monthly rent with enough left over to maintain a six year-old car.

Today, I'm in a Section 8 rental with a market rent of about $1200/month; twenty-three years ago (when I moved into this neighborhood) rents for a similar apartment were $395.

Since the mid-70s jet aircraft, containerized shipping, and computers have eliminated vast numbers of jobs, and machine intelligence and robotics will probably make that number look small before long.

What happens when society is forced to separate subsistence from productive labor due to a lack of jobs?

It is hard to imagine anything that will rile a population up faster than the prospect of starvation. Imho, vets are being victimized from the time they enlist to the time they die, but, so far, vets and their families aren't at risk of not eating regularly.

Where have the downplayed it?
Are you serious? About every time someone says conservatives might revolt, there is half a dozen libs coming back with lolz and statements to the effect that a nuclear weaponized federal government cannot be defeated, etc.

I am sure you have seen this, too.

"But his financial ties to the kingdom go back a very long way.

"In 1991, Donald J. Trump was a mid-tier real estate developer with $900 million in debt, a collapsing casino business, and a name perhaps best known for a headline-dominating split with his wife Ivana

"With his empire at risk of falling apart, Trump was searching for cash everywhere; his father even illegally bought $3.35 million worth of casino chips and never gambled them, to help Trump make a massive bond payment a year earlier."

Are there enough casino chips on the planet to bail out America with Trump in charge?

Is donald trump a twinkie?

Donald Trump is the duly elected president of USA.INC that didn't need the bullshit that comes with the position. He defeated a field of 16 other candidates to win the nomination and THEN defeated his opponent in an election that was totally rigged in her favor. The Hildebeast was going to win!!!! 99% certainty! The casting of ballots is just a mere formality! Trump will be the punchline of talk-show hosts for years to come!!!"....so the people were told. Standing in line to cast your vote for Trump makes you a fool!!! Why even bother?!?!?!?!?!?!?....so the people were told. The shock of his victory set the deep state machine in motion.....impeachment before he even took the oath of office. 90 percent of all stories pertaining to Trump was/is negative in scope. "THE ROOSKIES conspired with TRUMP....to reveal the criminality and corruption of the DNC and the Hildebeast and their tactics to try and steal the election...and by leftard standards? Well, that would have been "cheating" to reveal the cheating of the DNC.....you can't make this shit up....leftards bought it and continue to do so.

Suck it up, buttercup......Trump is the president and if the white hats truly recruited him, America has a shot, if not? We are no worse off and at least we bought some time. You are utterly clueless as to what we are facing.

I don't think the poster you quote is a "lib" whatever that is. Going by his font I think he makes billboards.

Still waiting for an answer here, OP. Should I just, what, check back in a year?

How gullible/stupid would a Twinkie have to be to conclude Trump is anything BUT a gold-plated con man who was born with a silver spoon up his ass?

He and his crime family have been looting this country for the last two years while their racist loons babble about deep-state border walls.

Trump Engaged in Suspect Tax Schemes as He Reaped Riches From His Father

"Mr. Trump won the presidency proclaiming himself a self-made billionaire, and he has long insisted that his father, the legendary New York City builder Fred C. Trump, provided almost no financial help.

"But The Times’s investigation, based on a vast trove of confidential tax returns and financial records, reveals that Mr. Trump received the equivalent today of at least $413 million from his father’s real estate empire, starting when he was a toddler and continuing to this day..."
images

"The findings are based on interviews with Fred Trump’s former employees and advisers and more than 100,000 pages of documents describing the inner workings and immense profitability of his empire. They include documents culled from public sources — mortgages and deeds, probate records, financial disclosure reports, regulatory records and civil court files."
