What Offense Did the Ukrainian People Commit That Caused Them to Be Bombed into Oblivion by The Russian Military at the Command of Putin?

Thank you Captain Obvious.

Now if only you could explain what SOME eventual deal has to do with your Kursk invasion being useless comment.

If Ukraine has Kursk to trade it can not-unreasonably get a better deal. It’s good optics for Ukraine to be on the offensive SOMEWHERE and they are tying up Russian forces there. And not only there, but all along border Russia is now thinking twice about leaving undefended as it tries to pull resources to front lines.

So certainly there is use. Is it better use than at the eastern front? Tough to say.
I meant the deal on Russian terms, obviously.

Ukraine won't have 'Kursk' to trade on anything. Ukrainian troops will be withdrawn from there before any deal is reached.

State propaganda combined with state oppressive apparatus (so called forced mobilization) do their job. But you can't build an effective army using these tools. Motivation is steadily declining and the level of desertion is steadily growing. Not once have I heard already that the lack of hardware and ammunition isn't the main problem now.

Ay Ukrainian man would have left a long time ago many have.

Well my Government break many promises but i don't storm Parliament with an AK to overthrow them, and Yanukovych never promised any such thing, he looked at the deal from the EU and the Russian deal and decided the Russian deal was better for his people and Country, the US and NATO didn't like it

Pure bullshit.

OF COURSE EU integration and eventual joining of EU was in long term much better for Ukraine in all aspects - social, economic, governing. Relatively speaking Russia's small economy is little more than that of a gas station operator.

Yanukovich ABSOLUTELY ran on EU integration Ukranian parlamentarians who were working for years on the agreement, were stunned when he went to sign the final agreement and instead rejected it. His sudden U-turn, after years of championing euro integration was a direct result of intense pressure from Moscow.

"Mosalyaku na gulyaku" that Kremlin propoganda likes to play up as Ukranian hate towards Russians, was instead directed at one man - Yanukovich, who was now seen by many as working for Moscow.

But again, EU entegration was only a background issue to Yanokovich's gov criminally repressing protestors with Russian-style riot squads. It was that violence that infuriated population and blew up protests into an all out resistance movement called Maidan - a revolution of dignity that demanded that perpertrators stand trial.

Ukraine signed EU integration in 2017.

But it has got zero . .
That initiative was a calamitous blunder .

The NATO troops supported by UAF remnants were hopelessly out thought and out classed .
Threy are all but wiped out

Like Putin's invasion was a calamitous blunder.

Wasn't he supposed to win in a matter of weeks?

In thinking about why Israel is destroying Gaza and killing tens of thousands of innocent civilians, it caused me, in comparison, to wonder why Putin began bombing Ukraine. I honestly could not remember why this all began.

I'm sure we all agree that retaliating for having been attacked and having your citizens abducted and killed is more than reason enough to go after the perpetrators, even if we do not necessarily agree with how they are going about carrying this out. But what I'm struck with at the moment is how Putin was NOT defending Russia, or retaliating for an attack against the country and its people. This wholesale slaughter of innocent people seems to be based on ideology?
Did you compare Putin or Israel? You pathetic fool.
