Liberty over collectivism, comrade.
Read the General Welfare clauseOMG lol
Govt control of your healthcare is freedom. That’s not “Liberty” at all. And leftist policies aren’t “collectivism” either.
Those of us living in countries with universal health care, free education, and a strong social safety net have far more “Liberty” than Americans.
In fact, the USA is down the list of nations with the highest level of personal freedom - 16th in the world. Canada is 5th and many European democracies are ahead of you.

Read the General Welfare clause

General Welfare means do what is best for We the People
You dont even know what that means.
Also, they can only use their enumerated powers to do it. Like keeping states in check. Not sending shelly in the trailer park a thousand dollars a month, simply for existing.
Congress has not unlimited powers to provide for the general welfare, but only those specifically enumerated.General Welfare means do what is best for We the People
Your concept of enumerated powers has never held up in court
Govt control of your healthcare is freedom.
Leftists are stupid.
Opinions vs 250 years of realityCongress has not unlimited powers to provide for the general welfare, but only those specifically enumerated.
Thomas Jefferson
If Congress can do whatever in their discretion can be done by money, and will promote the General Welfare, the Government is no longer a limited one, possessing enumerated powers, but an indefinite one.
James Madison
With respect to the words "general welfare," I have always regarded them as qualified by the detail of powers connected with them. To take them in a literal and unlimited sense would be a metamorphosis of the Constitution into a character which there is a host of proofs was not contemplated by its creators.
James Madison
Our tenet ever was . . . that Congress had not unlimited powers to provide for the general welfare, but were restrained to those specifically enumerated; and that, as it was never meant that they should provide for that welfare but by the exercise of the enumerated powers, so it could not have been meant they should raise money for purposes which the enumeration did not place under their action.
Thomas Jefferson
The founders and the person that wrote the damn thing disagree with you.
It sure beats control by corporations.Govt control of your healthcare is freedom.
Leftists are stupid.
NO, they don't you Fuking retard.Congress has not unlimited powers to provide for the general welfare, but only those specifically enumerated.

Agreed, but there are problems with that. Unfortunately our government is completely controlled by big corporations, billionaires, big pharma, and the MIC. So, government control might not be a great solution, but likely better than the current cluster f**k.It sure beats control by corporations.
