What makes you lean ‘Left’? What makes nearly all big cities ‘Left’?

Liberty over collectivism, comrade.

That’s not “Liberty” at all. And leftist policies aren’t “collectivism” either.

Those of us living in countries with universal health care, free education, and a strong social safety net have far more “Liberty” than Americans.

In fact, the USA is down the list of nations with the highest level of personal freedom - 16th in the world. Canada is 5th and many European democracies are ahead of you.

Govt control of your healthcare is freedom.
Leftists are stupid.

Read the General Welfare clause
You dont even know what that means.
Also, they can only use their enumerated powers to do it. Like keeping states in check. Not sending shelly in the trailer park a thousand dollars a month, simply for existing.

General Welfare means do what is best for We the People

Your concept of enumerated powers has never held up in court

The government doesn’t “control my healthcare”, my doctors control my healthcare. And yes, not having to cough up thousands in copays or having coverages declined, is most definitely freedom.

I recently suffered a massive heart attack. It cost me $45 for the ambulance to take me to the hospital. I had emergency surgery and spent 5 days in the ICU. I spent $200 on a blood pressure cuff and prescriptions when I went home. Less than $250 in costs for lifesaving treatment by the EMT’s, an emergency angiogram and stent, 5 days in the ICU, plus follow up treatment and testing.

I’m having nuclear testing on my heart to determine my recovery. My doctors don’t have to get pre-authorizations for any of this. And it’s all fully covered. I’ve never seen a bill or been refused treatment.

There are no bankruptcies due to medical bills in Canada. That’s the very definition of freedom.

It sure beats control by corporations.
How many countries in the world are waiting in line to adopt the US healthcare system?
RWNJ's are communist.
What other country would allow healthcare to be decided by your employer and a mega for profit insurer?

Agreed, but there are problems with that. Unfortunately our government is completely controlled by big corporations, billionaires, big pharma, and the MIC. So, government control might not be a great solution, but likely better than the current cluster f**k.

fancy they call you people communist too....you both are so much alike...
GOOD.

At least the communist you despise, have universal healthcare.

China does have free public healthcare which is under the country's social insurance plan. The healthcare system provides basic coverage for the majority of the of the native population and, in most cases, expats as well. However, it will depend on the region you reside in.
