What is a prog church?

Those are churches where they worship Marxianity instead of Christianity. They view Jesus as a "social justice warrior" and are tolerant of homosexuality, transgenderism, gay weddings, and gay pastors.

I didnt know they existed. I am an Elca lutheran. Left the cathomic church. Then went to missouri lutheran. Too strict. Now very happy

Not practicing hate = Marxism in your world it would seem.

Can you think of anything the Nazis did that is not sanctioned somewhere in the Bible?
What kind of a question is that?

Do you think anyone on these boards sanctions the Nazi regime as being Christ like?

"Christians" need to understand the following:

1. calling America a "Christian Nation" is factually inaccurate, and demonstrates a profound contempt for the Constitution, which says otherwise, that we are a nation with FREEDOM OF RELIGION, including FREEDOM FROM RELIGION
2. calling the GOP a "Christian Party" is a disaster, pushes non-Christians over to the Dems
3. Christianity isn't conservative, it is mindless repetitive BS, communist in its origin, no freedom of thought allowed

Religion is for Sunday, the other 6 days of the week are for REALITY...
You are correct that America is not a theocracy for Christianity, but you are wrong in not giving the Judeo-Christian culture credit for producing the Founding Fathers who then gave us freedoms in the Constitution.

Christianity is also not communist in origin.

In fact, Thomas Pain wrote "Common Sense" which was a pamphlet that energized the populace to revolt against the king of England, and guess what, in it he used 1 Samuel 8 which condemned the notion of having a corrupt human king to rule over them.

God had set up a loose confederation of "Judges" to keep the peace and not some behemoth collectivist nightmare knowns as a Monarchy or communism or Nazism, or Socialism.

Try again.

What is a prog church?
A prog church is one that embraces pretty much all Left wing ideology such as the gender cult and abortion cult and such.

As long as Jesus bows his knee to the Left, they are Ok with him, but the minute someone disagrees with them, they have to blow their head off and call them full of hate and a fascist.

Understand?

Personally...

I see Christian Nationalism as...

Conceding the fact that the United States is based upon European-Christian history and tradition and morality and religion and culture and that it serves de facto as a Nova Europa of sorts, preserving and evolving the Euro-Christian culture and identity.

Given the wisdom of the Founding Fathers in insisting upon a Separation of Church and State the United States has no State Religion nor does it permit governance by any Church or Temple or Mosque but we ARE a Secularized Christian nation of sorts.

Based on Christian history and tradition and Christian interpretations and evolution of Roman and English and European Common and Case Law and conducting our public affairs utilizing a broad interpretation and application of Judeo-Christian morality.

I see Christian Nationalism as a continued vigilance and insistence upon preserving the best of our past while continuing forward.

Your mileage may (and most likely will) vary.

Even Ben Franklin, who was not really very religious, understood the importance of the church and morality

“In these sentiments, Sir, I agree to this Constitution, with all its faults, if they are such; because I think a General Government necessary for us, and there is no form of government, but what may be a blessing to the people if well administered; and believe further, that this is likely to be well administered for a course of years, and can only end in despotism, as other forms have done before it, when the people shall become so corrupted as to need despotic government.”

But today, the Left views that the only problems in society is the fact that the distribution of wealth needs to improve, which is equivalent to righteousness in their eyes, and will fix all our problems.

What is your view of Christian Nationalism?

As a Christian, I am in no way in favor of theocracy, however, I do believe Christians have a duty to be involved in the affairs of society to make the world a better place, just like everyone else. In that sense, there is no, or at least should not be, a separation of church and state.

But let's be honest, the term Christian Nationalism has been coined by the Left to be interpreted Nazi Fascist as it has become one of those dog whistle terms to identify evil in the world.

However, if being a Nationalist is Hitler like, something you refuse to participate in because you are soooo much more righteous than those concerned with their nation, why do you participate in politics? Are you there to promote global interests instead of national interests, or something else altogether?

Go!!!

it's a made up term to link anyone Christian and white to White Power idiots.

It's the same concept as calling anyone to the right of Mitt Romney a Nazi.

They made it up themselves.

The first person on a forum like this that referred to himself as a Christian Nationalist was actually a full blown white supremacist.

Labels again, so tiresome.

Here is your label "befuddled left loon without the first clue"

I have absolutely no idea why anyone would take you seriously

Trump has never read the Bible. He probably could not tell you if the book Isaiah is in the Old Testament or the New Testament.

I'm sure that one he waved around when he ordered his attack on a peaceful, permitted assembly had "Gideon Society" stamped inside the flyleaf.

You can't lose the label, because you embrace the ideology. It is facism and flagrant racism dressed in saint's robes.

And the first person I ever conversed with on a forum back in 2015 who called himself a Christian Nationalist, went on and on about white supremacy. Of course, he wouldn't admit that what he was saying was actually white supremacy. But he checked every box.

White supremacy is at the core of Trumpism. No one doubts that. Even if the people who embrace it deny their own hypocracy.

Trumpism has always been about race. His entire campaigns have had race baiting at their core.

You keep using left loon catch phrases, racism, fascism, nationalism

You're just a lowly ism

What she considers Christian nationalism is not what the left portrays it as. and the term was around well before 2022.

Stupid of her to use it.

For the left all the term is used for is trying to paint anyone to the right of Mitt Romney and a Christian as a nazi.

It's just a way of saying Nazi without saying Nazi.

And you can continue to just say Nazi.
