We have a government debt crisis. It appeared this week in the bond market as yields went up but interest rates dropped.

This is because of a new lower debt rating from Moody AND congress refusing to cut the outrageous growth of the federal budget whatsoever.
Cut the budget? HA! They've never done that before. They have only dropped the growth a little and things went ballistically well.
Now they don't want to slow the spending/growth because inflation (they caused) ate their lunch money.

Guess what?
That's not even the whole part of the problem. Government taxes citizens for the collective good. Not the good of a few. But that's how some elected people see things.
