That continue to increase there control & pay structure & end cost of product on owning every thing in their wide field of ownership. Yes you can start and own your own company. Should you start doing well by being content with a middle class income,
and passing the overage down to your employees. The big guys will by you out, or destroy your single party ownership.

Depends on your definition of survival. My grandparents raised their families in walk-up tenements. They survived.

Their pleasure was seeing their children go on to college and live successful lives.

But you can’t say my grandparents didn’t survive. And they still had small enjoyments - listening to radio shows, taking the subway to the beach, even going to the 1939 World’s Fair! That is certainly surviving, plus a little beyond.

Thats great. But as a young person enteri g todays work world its nose to the job, never a day of fun. No social events, save every penny. No time for onesself. Move up the ladder and retire by 55. No spouse necessary. Thats todays america
