What is the longest commute you had for work

Does it count if I had to commute from CA to Germany? How about from CA to Okinawa?

If it was daily or weekly, sure. Mine was daily. Distance was right at 200 miles.

Yep, a snow storm in Southern California. I was traveling from the San Fernando Valley to Palmdale. Cars in both ditches two deep and only a few of us knowing how to drive on snow and ice. I never got out of first gear.

I have two friends who are airline captains. One is based in Phoenix, but lives in Reno. The other is based in L.A. but lives down in Carson city.

From Orlando to Miami doing construction. As far as time. I worked 20 miles away on my city job and it would take me as much as 2 hours there and 2 hours back depending on traffic.

The distance from San Rafael CA to San Francisco is 18-Miles. Took about 30-Minutes by Golden Gate Transit. Fridays my wife and would take the ferry home. sit in back of ferry and sip wine and watch the City lights.

I work construction and it can be from a couple miles to 90 miles one way depending on the job.
The worst is if I have to pass through the Twin Cities rush hour.

Many drives are rural, since I already live out in the exurbs, and those are far less stressful and scenic too.

Last week was one day in western Wisconsin about 75 miles one way.
