Big difference. Iran has the ability to inflict a lot of damage. Not that the VC and NV regulars weren’t good fighters. Iran has a sizable arsenal and a huge army.

I hope there as good of results as possible from the Iran war. But Trump's execution of the war is not giving the greatest chance for victory. He has planned by the seat of his pants. He does not have contingency plans for when things don't go the way expected.
The win will be because of the war fighters despite Trump.
