Well i doubt Iran can rely on Russia or China getting involved with their military other than supplying weapons, especially China who talk a lot but never seem to get involved, Russia and China should realize if they don't confront US aggression sooner rather than later they are the ultimate target, Russia fell short in Syria snatching defeat from victory.

You might underestimate China - they don't militarily attack others but managed to gain control of the entire South-China-Sea and further maritime territories. They posses the worlds largest Navy and keep modernizing and procuring new vessels. Since their strategy is entirely devoted to Area Access Denial - the USA factually has no means to intimidate, threaten or even attack China. And as such China already controls the entire Eastern Asian board and South-East-Asia. Without having had to spend $ Trillions for brainless wars.

That is where Iran comes in - presently Iran is of extreme strategic value (close to all US bases in the Middle-East) and economic (oil) value (consumer market) to China - visible in regards to China's huge investment commitment - already done and going to be done.
It's not just Israel that pushes for war against Iran - but therefore meets/includes US expectations to block/hinder China's influence and strategic expansion. So China simply can't allow the USA to control/extort Iran.

Without technical, financial, political support from China, Russia would be in real deep shit - regarding it's commitment towards Ukraine. And having Europe on its back. Russia is simply too small (population/economy) to handle Ukraine&EU. Not even to mention the USA.
