Your comment on lethal injections is obviously accurate. I don't get it. One would think lethal injection could be simple, painless, and effective. The Canadians offer it to citizens, simply not wishing to continue their life for whatever reason, and it works up there for right or wrong.

Funny how the needles have to be very sterile before injecting, so the death row inmate doesnt get an infection.

I've found it humorous that they will postpone execution if the condemned is ill as well. LOL, a death row inmate in WA, a state that still uses hanging, was not put to death because he was obese and it would have severed his head from his body. LOL, he died of cirrhosis in 2006, twelve years after being spared.
