What Is Project 2025? The Conservative Plan That Taraji P. Henson Called Out At The BET Awards, Explained

I realize that the USMB Retards are deathly afraid of Christopher Hayes - perhaps after they found out he's, like, 6'4", who knows why they're such pussies? - but anyway, they should click this video.

PROJECT 2025 IS AFTER YOUR PORN, WINGNUTS!!!!

Says the guy with the retard profile pic.

Trump is on the record as having nothing to do with that Heritage Foundation thing. Dems are trying to blow up Trump's swelling support for black voters. As usual, the strategy is to try and influence using entertainment and media. The truth doesn't matter at all to them. They just try to find something that will stick.
Trump is lying.

Project 2025 from what I've read is a big step towards a theocracy.

Jim Crow....the policy of the democrat party. As was the ku klux klan, segregation, poll taxes and literacy tests.....
Jim Crow was the policy of Democrats and Republicans.

From the book"Get Your Knee off Our Necks"

"The 1876 election offered Samuel Tilden from the Democratic party and Rutherford Hayes from the Republican party. Tilden won the popular vote but needed at least 185 electoral votes to become president. He got stuck at 184. Hayes had 166, but nineteen unawarded electoral votes remained after the popular vote. The nineteen votes belonged to South Carolina, Florida, and Louisiana. To get those nineteen votes, Hayes promised to end reconstruction. This promise is known as the 1877 Compromise.

The conditions of the 1877 Compromise are as follows: Hayes would remove federal troops and allow southern states home rule. Rutherford’s agreement to withdraw federal troops took away the protection the newly freed blacks had in the south from physical violence and nullified or ended constitutional protections blacks had due to the Union victory. Allowing the south home rule meant the Republican Party would no longer intervene in local issues in the south. At that point, the Republican Party first turned its back on blacks and ended its commitment to black civil rights in the south.

During the Civil War period, Radical Republicans had great power and were able to get initiatives passed providing blacks with civil rights. The pressure from Radical Republicans was responsible for creating the 14th Amendment and the implementation of the Reconstruction Acts over President Johnson’s veto. These two actions allowed protection to the newly freed blacks.

The influence of the Radical Republicans was gone once reconstruction ended, and the republican party began to turn away from issues affecting blacks. Southern white Republicans resented that the party had become the “black folks party” to use the kindest description, and felt that they needed to gain support from southern whites to become national.10 As blacks gained power and started winning elections, white resistance increased, and as a result, there was a backlash against southern black republicans called the lily-white movement.

The lily-white movement was an all-white faction of the Republican Party in the Southern United States in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. It battled and usually defeated the biracial element called the Black-and-tan faction.

During Reconstruction, following the U.S. Civil War, black leaders in Texas and around the country gained increasing influence in the Republican Party by organizing blacks as an important voting bloc. Conservative whites attempted to eliminate this influence and recover white voters who had defected to the Democratic Party. The effort was largely successful in eliminating African-American influence in the Republican Party leading to black voters predominantly migrating to the Democratic Party for much of the 20th century.

The term lily-white movement was coined by Texas Republican leader Norris Wright Cuney, who used the term in an 1888 Republican convention to describe efforts by white conservatives to oust blacks from positions of Texas party leadership and incite riots to divide the party. The term came to be used nationally to describe this ongoing movement as it further developed in the early 20th century, including through the administration of Herbert Hoover. Localized movements began immediately after the war but by the beginning of the 20th century the effort had become national. This movement is largely credited with driving blacks out of the Republican party during the early 20th century, setting the stage for their eventual support of the Democrats.”

In the decision that made Jim Crow the law of the land, it was a 7-1 decision by SCOTUS with one abstention. 4 of the 7 votes in SCOTUS were by Republicans.

William McKinley(Repulican) was president when Plessy was passed.

William McKinley, president from 1897-1901, delivered an inaugural address extolling equal rights and declared, “Lynchings must not be tolerated.” However, he remained silent when white supremacists in Wilmington, North Carolina, staged an 1898 coup that ousted all Black elected officials and killed at least 60 Blacks. His lack of response to lynchings prompted a Black-owned newspaper to observe, “The Negroes of this country turn with impatience, disappointment and disgust from Mr. McKinley’s fence-straddling and shilly-shallying discussion of lynch law.”

Theodore Roosevelt, president from 1901-1909, believed in white superiority while simultaneously advocating educational opportunity regardless of race. In a letter to a friend, he wrote, “Now as to the Negroes! I entirely agree with you that as a race and in the mass they are altogether inferior to the whites.”

Here are 2 Republican presidents during Jim Crow. Now try telling everybody how Jim Crow was only democrats.

“The Project 2025 plan is not a game. Look it up!”

Henson appeared in a recorded segment with Harris. The vice president warned against Republicans launching a “full-on attack on our fundamental freedoms,” such as voting rights, reproductive freedoms and LGBTQ+ rights. “The majority of us believe in freedom and equality,” Harris said, “but these extremists, as they say, they are not like us.”

“Did you know that it is now a crime to be homeless? Pay attention,” Henson said during a speech she delivered during the live portion of the show, referring to a recent Supreme Court ruling allowing cities to ticket or arrest homeless people for sleeping in public. Henson then referenced a Republican-backed plan for the next presidential administration. “The Project 2025 plan is not a game. Look it up!” she urged the audience, leaving many people wondering what exactly Project 2025 is and why we should be worried about it.

Project 2025, also known as the Presidential Transition Project, is an extensive proposal of policies put forth by the Heritage Foundation, a top conservative think tank with input from dozens of conservative groups. Project 2025, which the Heritage Foundation has put forward in the form of a 920-page document published online, is a plan for a right-wing agenda to be put in place during a second Trump term. Critics argue that the plan would create an authoritarian presidency, taking power away from the other branches of government and empowering Trump to enforce an ultraconservative agenda throughout the country. Many conservatives, meanwhile, have embraced the plan.

Folks better wake up, the right is working to take us back to the 1950s.

Why do you think McConnell used Trump to stack the courts in this country.

At about 6 minutes in he starts talking about Project 2025:

Wtf retardation is this?

Smack yourself in the kisser hard for doing this thing no human should ever do. And let that be a lesson to ya.

Jim Crow was a democrat party system…and you vote for the democrats
Jim Crow was practiced by both parties and in fact it was a Republican president that ended Reconstruction, it was 4 Republican votes out of 7 that made Jim Crow national, and Repubicans did nothing to end it. Today's Republican party is all for Jim Crow, so don't try that bullshit with me.

Why do white Republicans lie about the 50's? Everything you say here is incorrect.

We won't be going back.
Why won't we?

Trump is leading by a wide margin. Also, I don't know if you're keeping up with current events, but your side just took one of the worst ass kicking in the history of presidential politics.

Trump will be the president, and he will fully and successfully impliment every aspect of Project 2025.

We will have 50's level crime rates, 50's level unemployment, 50's level respect around the world, and 50's level stability of our currency.

Trump is not leading by a wide margin and he is not going to be president. Crime was higher in the 50's, poverty was higher in the 50's, and the only reason we were ahead of the rest of the world is that they were reuiding from 2 world wars in a 20 year span. We are not going back, and anyone trying to take us back is going to cause a lot o fpain and bloodshed.

Project 2025 will not be allowed.

I saw the debates and the sane world saw that Biden stumbled and trump did othing but lie. Nobody won that debate. There was no ass kicking.

If Trump is not going to win in November, who do you see beating him?

BTW, I know they don't teach history anymore in public schools, but the U.S. was a major, in fact, the major participant in WWII.

If Donald Trump becomes president, then with the stroke of his pen:
  • The Department of Justice will no longer be independent—and there will be no one left to stop Trump from charging his political opponents with crimes.
  • The Federal Bureau of Investigation's (FBI) efforts to curb the spread of disinformation, including Russian propaganda, will be shut down.
  • The Insurrection Act will be used to shut down protests and to deploy red-state National Guard units against blue states—even over the objections of those states' governors.
  • Abortion will be banned nationwide using two approaches. First, through a radical right-wing interpretation of the Comstock Act, a long-dormant law from 1873; as one of Trump's lawyers says, "We don't need [Congress to pass] a federal ban when we have Comstock on the books." And second, by reversing the FDA approval of medication abortion, which is safer than aspirin.
  • They aim to ban IVF, even though 86% of Americans support it.
  • They propose exempting Christian churches, and only Christian churches, from any health requirements, including during a pandemic, and imposing the Christian Sabbath on all of us by paying more to workers—but only on Sundays—while workers will continue to fall behind on the other six days of the week. Meanwhile, tax cuts for the rich would be permanently extended, costing more than $4 trillion.
  • They would delete the terms "sexual orientation" and "gender identity"; "diversity, equity, and inclusion"; and "gender," "gender equality," and "gender equity" from all government policy.
  • And, they would direct the Department of Health and Human Services (DHS) to rewrite all policies to adhere to a "biblically-based definition of marriage and family," including recognizing only heterosexual marriage and rejecting any transgender care or protections.

Furthermore: it will:

· End birthright citizenship.

· Send homeless people to government camps.

· Put all drug dealers to death.

· Pardon and apologize all January 6 rioters.

· Start police “stop and frisk” without reason.

· Eliminate US Department of Energy.

· Imprison all LGBGQ+ people; no exceptions

· Replace all Federal Employees with Trump loyalists.

· Declare any educational LGBTQ+ literature as porn.

· Declare ALL pornography illegal and punishable.

· Both personal and business internet censored.

· Abortions no longer allowed with legal penalties.

· Destroy/Modify the US Constitution to MAGA.

· Change USA Democracy to Christian Theocracy.

· Declare TRUMP president-for-life/dictator.

· With FULL SUPPORT from the US Supreme Court.
