Zone1 What is one of your moral truths....

You like to use labels but have never labeled yourself. What is the source of your dogma?
... so how deep are you, a desert dweller by chance.

are you all three yet ... hereditary idolatry - phony commandments - servitude and denial ... all giddy and certain, knocking on the door for your final judgement.

of course there is.

species cooperate.

individuals cooperate.

morality is just a fance word for cooperation.
So if 4 dudes cooperate to break into and rob a house and rape any women there, they are being moral, after all, morality is just a fancy word for cooperation.

...that is true for everyone?

Some believe everyone should be able to choose moral truths based on what feels right to him/her personally, so that one's moral value isn't imposed--isn't an imposition on everyone--or anyone--else. The definition of truth is that what is true is true for everyone and true for all time. A moral truth is based on logic, not on feelings.
In my opinion a moral truth is based on one's sense of right and wrong and yes, that should be based on logic and reason.

A moral truth for me is that is grievous sin to deliberately murder somebody. But in some cultures, killing your enemy is a moral truth for them.

A moral truth truth for me is it is grievous sin to spread false rumors, gossip, slander/libel, malicious lies about another person who is innocent of those rumors etc. But some Americans seem to believe the wanted end justifies the means.

Morality does not equal cooperation.
it does actually.

morality is what leads to a high trust cooperative society.

war hawks just hate peace so they seek to pervert what morality is.

those 'ends justify' the means Americans are bad people.

Sure but that doesn't mean the people are.
after a certain amount of behaving as if the ends do justify the means, it is safe to say a person might be a somewhat bad person.

this is another value of high trust behavior, having a reputation of being trustworthy, and not "fake news".

Maybe, but the risk there is subjectivity. I've found my life to be much more peaceful with objectivity. So not a line I cross without a lot of good reasons.

morality is not actually that subjective.

do unto others as you would want done unto you.

imagination, good will, and reciprocity.

I agree. Morality isn't subjective. But people are.

people are often immoral if that's what you mean.

I also believe in second chances and redemption.
