Team Trump Suspects His Former Chief of Staff Is a ‘Rat’

EARLIER THIS YEAR, Donald Trump sent some of his lawyers and political advisers on a “small fact-finding mission,” as a person with knowledge of the matter describes it to Rolling Stone. The former president wanted to know, according to that source and another person close to Trump: “What is Mark doing?”

Trump was referring to his former White House chief of staff, Mark Meadows. Justice Department investigators and Special Counsel Jack Smith’s office had been keen on questioning Meadows under oath about Trump’s efforts to subvert the 2020 election and to hoard government documents. And it’s been an ongoing mystery to Trump and his team how much Meadows has given the feds, and whether or not he’s actually cooperating. Months ago, Meadows and his lawyer severed communications with most of Trumpland, in a move that continues to frustrate people working to keep the now twiceindicted former president out of deeper legal peril.

It appears their suspicions were well founded.

Mark is not alone in giving Jack truthful testimony.

Witness in Trump Documents Case Changed Lawyers, and Then Testimony

An employee of former President Donald J. Trump changed his grand jury testimony in the documents case after the Justice Department raised questions about whether his lawyer had a conflict of interest in representing both the employee and a defendant in the case, prosecutors said in a court filing on Tuesday.

The prosecutors working for the special counsel, Jack Smith, had asked for a hearing to address the fact that the employee, who is a possible witness in the case, was represented by the lawyer Stanley Woodward. Mr. Woodward also represents two other possible witnesses and one of the co-defendants, Walt Nauta, a personal aide to Mr. Trump.

The employee was not named in the court filings but was identified by people familiar with the matter as Yuscil Taveras, an information technology worker at Mr. Trump’s private club and residence in Florida, Mar-a-Lago.

Taveras changing attorneys from one being paid for by RICO Don brings back memories of Cassidy Hutchinson doing the same thing. Similarly, her testimony to the 1/6 committee got a lot more detailed, and truthful, after she dumped the lawyer Don was paying for. The one advising her it was okay to say she couldn't remember events that were damning for Don.

Hopefully, the trend started by Taveras and Meadows will spread to other witnesses. Cuz.......you know.......it never goes well for the twice impeached, four times indicted, disgraced former prez when the truth comes out.

When you have this many indicted individuals, this many unindicted (so far) co-conspirators, this much public evidence, and this many charges, the chances of people flipping definitely increase. So do the chances of a domino effect.

Looks like it's starting, at least to some degree.

The more witnesses with damning testimony who are willing to tell what they know about Don's criminal enterprise come forward, the easier Jack Smith's job becomes.

And don't forget -- at least in the MAL case, the chances of an orange True Believer getting on the jury are better than 50/50. That case has to be as close to a slam dunk as humanly possible.

Right. It will only take one cult member getting on the jury to thwart justice.

A slam dunk won't matter if a MAGAGATARD gets on the jury. tRump is their screaming retribution.

Yeah. I can picture a rube, leaning back in his chair, arms crossed, smirk on his face.

Nothing is going to change that.
Regarding the likelihood of more "rats" emerging, one thing going for Smith.......and the country.......is the craven nature of the people Trump associates with.

All irrelevant.

Trump will not be jailed/convicted/imprisoned.

This is all a DemocraTaliban Nazi circus.

The innocent lives they’re destroying?

Sick amusement for the DemocraTaliban psychopaths.
