We lived in a suburban neighborhood, everyone knew each other, the kids would play together, we'd be out riding our bikes all the way to town (many miles) and no one worried about being abducted, etc. The neighborhood parents would support each other if a dumb kid went off the rails. This does not happen today. I makes me sad how the family has degraded since the 60's and feminism which assumes that men are just animals.

Well, even mundane is better than today where parents have a real fear their kid could be assaulted, abducted, etc. In the 50's we had 0 fear of any of that and kids were more or less free to play outside with abandon.

I think that women should prioritize having children and a family when they are young and her eggs are not geriatric. When the kids are up and out, she can pursue a career.

Also, today there are many opportunities for women if they would like do so, have a job that they can do at home while taking care of their kids.
