In the same way God is much more than a concept of the imagination even if knowledge of God first appears that way.

Because God isn't defined by Webster. Let's go back to those who He revealed Himself to.
God is:

El Hanne'eman. - The Faithful God
El Emet. - The God of Truth
El Tsaddik. The Righteous God
El Shaddai. The All Sufficient God. (mentioned 48 times in the Bible.)
El Elyon. The Most High God.
El Olam. God Everlasting
El Roi. God Who Sees me
El Chaiyai. The God of my life
El-Channun. The Gracious God
El Rachum. The God of Compassion
El malei Rachamim God full of mercy
El Yeshuati. The God of my Salvation. From yeshuah, meaning salvation, deliverance, and victory.
El Hannora. The Awesome God
and
Immanuel. God is with us.

Just a few of the less generic definitions of our God.
Satan is not God. He doesn't fit the descriptions.

God is the Creator of all things seen and unseen. ( John 1: 1 ) Why shouldn't Satan be considered a god? He is. By Satanists. Still he is not God. He is a created being created BY THE ONE TRUE G-D! A fallen angel soon to be cast into the Lake of Fire. (when that time comes ) Satan cannot create anything but death and destruction and even then only by G-ds permission first..... God on the other hand is the One and Only true God, Our Creator, and He alone is worthy of our praise. Understand now? - Jeri

Honestly, Christians should all get together and decide to call God something. Satan is Satan. The God of Israel is Yahweh. The God of Islam is Allah. The God of the Zoroastrians is Ahura Mazda. The God of Christianity is named... God. It would be harder to play semantics with our God's name then.

Satan is NOT a created "being". It is the symbolic name of God's delusion ( the tree of the knowledge of good and evil ). The Old Covenant "veil" and the beast are also God's delusion.

Satan is a created being. The Word of God says so. ( Jesus is the Word )

Irish, I do agree that man did not invent prophecy, God created it. However, None of us will be alive in 4013 so asking him to prophesize it right now is kinda pointless. Unless that's your point...

It's my belief that christians DO believe that satan is a god.

Its also my belief that both are imaginary.
