This is an opinion, so there is no link.

The Democrats love using the word "democracy".
But what do they mean when they say "democracy"?
What does "democracy" mean to the Democrats?

Near as I can tell, EVERY word, just means what they want it to mean, for their immediate political purpose.

When democrats say democracy they mean that they can get together and take your house, mutilate your children and even direct your euthanization. All they need is to outvote you. Actually, they don't even need to really outvote anyone. Just say they did.

Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for dinner. Liberty is a well armed lamb contesting the vote.

What is democracy to the Democrats?

It has no meaning to them because they use it out of context. They assume it's a good thing but they can't think of an appropriate example. It's like beginning a sentence with "basically" then going into a labyrinth of disconnected dots for an hour or two.

Most normal, intelligent people understand that the word "democracy" is a simple, worldwide, catch-all phrase for the freedom to vote. The freedom to vote comes in many forms. If you ALSO call us a "Constitutional Republic" or something similar, that's fine too. "Democracy" is simply shorter and gets the point across just fine.

I know Trumpsters want to appear more intelligent and informed than everyone else, but this whole thing is always silly.

Considering the OP, are you surprised?

OK
Democracy is where We the People create a more perfect Union.

A nation of the people, by the people and for the people

To me it means every vote is equal to every other vote. The rights of every minority are protected but the majority are in control. Corporations and the rich don't get to make the rules and commandeer the government.

This is a very simple question, one I have anwered numerous times. Democrats conflate the two words, Democracy and Democrats, thinking they are one in the same. Whenever democrats lose they claim democracy is taken away, which just means Republicans have taken Democrats away or, more precisely, voters took Democrats/Democracy away. To them, not having Democrats means not having Democracy.

A Liberal Democracy is what our constitution aspires too. That is our government derives its power and authority from the people by way of a democratic vote for representatives. That was a very liberal idea in the 1700's. Our government is constrained by the Constitution.

What are facts to partisans?
