He did what democrats wanted from their leaders - stand up to Trump. But, that's all it was. It changed nothing other than putting him in the filibuster record books. Reminds me of Trump's first term when shortly after he took office there was a one million person pro-abortion rally in DC. Not too long after, the pro-abortion crowd was more worse off than they have ever been. But, they had one million people all standing up against Trump and accomplishing nothing.
