According to the Dems, these illegal immigrants are the "Future of the Democrat Party". They don't want to ever close the southern border. That would only complicate their sole agenda - their votes. The GOP are fools for not insisting. The Dems find irreconcilable problems in every bill the GOP does whom they won't ever budge an inch on agreeing to.

So, who has the landscaping businesses that pay for benefits and pays taxes, that gets undercut by the contractor who drives down to get 3 or 4 migrant workers to work for a few dollars a day?

Who gets hurt? Taxpayers? Small businesses who need labor? Minimum wage workers?

It usually works for democrats who have the media behind them. Look how the Texas democrats who left the state rather than doing their duty made out. The media laughed or supported them or ignored the potential for criminal charges even when they infected the V.P. with covid. Yes it has. People were let in as needed. Illegals always came in also, but much more restriction was involved. I would think that people form generations ago were of that to a degree, but nothing like today and the last few decades. Have the same tax codes from a century ago and see what happens.
