It found that over 70 percent of Rust Belt voters hold a negative view of the party.

Among Democratic and independent respondents, the most common critique of the Democratic Party was its perceived inability to carry out policies that help ordinary people.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Americans continue to see the Republican Party as better than the Democratic Party for protecting the U.S. from international threats, 48% to 41%, though the margin has narrowed since last year. However, the same survey, which began before the government shutdown and the Israel-Hamas ceasefire deal, also finds the GOP has lost its advantage as the party better for keeping the country prosperous.

In both cases, Republicans’ weaker position is mainly the result of fewer Americans than a year ago preferring the Republican Party for these responsibilities, not because of increased confidence in the Democratic Party to handle them.

The same is true for the GOP if Communist Mamdani wins the NYC mayor's vote.

Whites aren't a race(unless someone of color points out the white racism) to you, so when whites are complaining about anti white things they imagine, it's not race or identity. But if Democrats call out the overt racist messages presented by Republicans it's identity politics. If whites complain about things like DEI, it's not playing the race card or identity politics, but if the racism inherent in their complaining is called out or opposed, then it's playing the race card or identity politics.

I wish that were true, but the truth is a Republican can't get elected in NYC right now. They're too far gone.

They need to elect Mamdani, let him burn the city to the ground, and then they can rebuild smarter. Hopefully.

Either that, or NYC becomes a bigger version of Chicago, Detroit, Oakland, etc. Completely lost.

I'm not concerned about your OP. Just sit back and watch Republicans get voted out of DC next year as the things Trump does get more and more extreme. You are laboring under a delusion, and this last weekend should have been a wake-up call. But like every other right-wing stooge, you will deny what was shown to you, and when Republicans get voted out, you will cry about a fix.
