You're right it's the majority who decide the laws as to whether gay marriage/homosexuality is allowed. Personally, I don't think it should be called marriage either because marriage is between a man and a woman. It should be Gay Marriage or Civil Union, but that's just a name to a description.
I'd like to point out that gay marriage is a union between two consenting adults. NAMBLA'S problem is that they want to have sex with minors who can't give consent. And Adult is a person who has developed to a certain point where they should be able to function as an adult because their cognitive ability is at a certain point. Children can't make those decisions because their brain isn't fully developed and they can't fully understand the consequences of their actions. Because sex is a personal thing and shouldn't be decided for you, the law provides shelter to minors so that adults in charge of them can't exploit them. NAMBLA wants to exploit minors for their own personal gain. Not having sex with minors is not just kept at bay due to morality, but also by scientific evidence of brain development. I pray that our society never gets to the point that we will look at children as chattel.
If you think I am advocating homosexuality I'm not. However morality is changing and with it gays are being allowed to live openly. Apparently the majority has spoken. Along with that freedom we need to be careful to guard religious freedoms as well. This means that if a Christian doesn't want to cater to a gay event because they feel it's promoting/condoning homosexuality than they should be allowed to decline. Now tonight I heard of a restaurant that will refuse to serve gays. Jesus ate with sinners so I don't see why that person thinks it's a violation of their faith to give gays food for a plain dinner. When Jesus fed the 5000 he didn't say "hey *** no food for you". Everyone was fed. The law needs to be more specific.

2. Those who don't know Jesus, such as yourself, misinterpret his words or, as is often the case, leave out what they don't find convenient to their South Park Plastic Dashboard Jesus image. Jesus called sinners to repentance. He didn't endorse, advocate for, or vindicate sinners in their sin in any way. Jesus is not a player in the gay movement because gays want to continue in their sin.
3. NAMBLA has no insurmountable problems. Any law that they feel violates their civil rights, in rampart with the foundation set by gay court victories, can be challenged in like manner. The fact that children actually can consent to sex with an adult will be entered into evidence, and it will be framed not as adult predators going after frightened, helpless victims, but two people of disparate age wanting to be together but politicians wanting to deny them their love and rights through religiously motivated discrimination. I'm giving you a peek into the future, because their arguments aren't going to be as outrageous as you think and they will be tugging on the same heart strings as the gay movement and at times will seem....quite rational.

Simply stated, Child Molestation is child abuse; marriage of two adults , each consenting, is an exercise of liberty. Was this exercise of liberty once denied? Of course, but laws preventing racial intermarriage have fallen into desuetude.
My guess, someone will sue a butcher, a baker or candlestick maker for discrimination, claiming the Civil Rights Act of 1964 is inclusive, and only because the LGBT was forced to hide in closets, they were not included as a protected class.

You see, it's improbable that NAMBLA will throw up it's hands in defeat and forever accept as inevitable that they can never win. Such deference to despair usually invokes a streak of defiance.
It's also improbable that NAMBLA, in its fight to advance their agenda, will fail to utilize a proven playbook by which their cause is characterized as a civil rights struggle and can be caused to prevail in the courts where it failed in the democratic process.

Of course not, I'm hoping we become a nation dreamed of by Jefferson ("We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness").
We are moving in that direction, of course the callous conservatives and social conservatives seek a return to the days where some people needed to hide in a closet, and women needed to have abortions in back alleys.

NAMBLA has a right to assemble as long as no laws are broken. This means they get to talk about what their group is about but they can't act on what their group is about because minors can't give consent. That's NAMBLA'S right because that's everybody's right. No adult gets to violate that law the same way nobody gets to get away with murder because their right to kill was violated. There are some things that are considered universal wrongs in the USA and sex with children is one of them.
Hypothetical situation: The laws have been dropped in the interest of individual rights. This also means that murder is legal. NAMBLA gets to have it's agenda, all is right in the NAMBLA world right? Wrong because those opposed to the NAMBLA agenda can now go after it's members without fear of persecution. See how that works? The law prevents a blood bath. The Law is meant to protect. In this case NAMBLA members can have their meetings and children can remain off limits and nobody gets to reign anarchy down on someone else's head. NAMBLA has limited rights because society at large has decided that things like murder, rape,stealing, and sex with children etc. are repugnant,wrong and not covered under Constitutional rights.
NAMBLA is barley legal so they should be content with what few rights they have.

This has also been the case with gays, but gays appealed to the courts who obligingly steamrolled over popularly enacted laws defining marriage as a man and a woman. Such precedent may prove binding on future courts as NAMBLA walks the trail blazed by LGBT, seeking legal recognition for an agenda that confounds popular support.
Your argument is fallacious, it combines two common impostors: The No in-Between and the Slippery Slope. Simply stated, Child Molestation is child abuse; marriage of two adults , each consenting, is an exercise of liberty. Was this exercise of liberty once denied? Of course, but laws preventing racial intermarriage have fallen into desuetude.
My guess, someone will sue a butcher, a baker or candlestick maker for discrimination, claiming the Civil Rights Act of 1964 is inclusive, and only because the LGBT was forced to hide in closets, they were not included as a protected class.
Today they are out and in force demanding equal rights and equal opportunities. Of course Alito, Thomas and Scalia will deny them such protection, but the other five will not.
