The effects of original sin is that we all enter mortality and eventually die. The overcoming of original sin is that we all will resurrect and live forever in a body of flesh and bones forever and ever.
1 Corinthians 15:21-22
21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall
all be made alive.
It is important for our eternal learning and growth that we go through mortality, but God has overcome the effects of original sin in that we shall all be resurrected and live forever as immortal beings.
Acts 24:15
15 And have hope toward God, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust.
In the short run we live in mortality but we are not held accountable for Adam and Eve's transgression. We are only held accountable for our own sins. Little children cannot sin until they reach the age of accountability. Until they become accountable they are innocent before God.
Matthew 18:2-6
2 And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them,
3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
5 And whoso shall receive one such little child in my n
ame receiveth me.
6 But whoso shall
offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.
