What happened to my new thread?

A few days ago (sometime within the last week), I posted the process by which a bill moves through congress. I think I started the title with LEGISLATION, then identified it as pertaining particularly to the health care proposal(s) currently under review.

I've seached every conceivable board where it might have been moved. I think I originally posted it either in "POLITICS" or "HEALTH CARE/INSURANCE." I've even searched through the FLAME ZONE.

I don't see any reason why it would have been removed, and I'm curious to know if anyone paid any attention to the posting, but can't find it.

Yes, thanks. I guess I must have just missed it, but it didn't turn up using your thread search either. Doesn't matter, though, since no one seemed interested. Probably that's why Civics 101 isn't taught in high school anymore. Sad.

Hi Maggie, it depends on how people search, not necesarily if they find the topic interesting. I'f I'm stopping in for a few minutes, I might just hit the "active topics" tab, and would't even see it. If someone didn't happen into the folder it was posted in (politics, flame zone, etc...) they wouldn't see it either. Then again, you could be right. For lots of people bitching about what they think they know is so much more fun than finding out how things work.
