TV has many programs of true crimes where as examples women get in their car and later in the day get murdered. A gun used correctly will stop crime in its tracks.

Today is a good example where Mikal Mahdi housed in South Carolina will die this evening by gunfire. 3 corrections officers will fire .308 bullets into his heart and the inmate chose this way to end life.

I asked my oldest daughter who married a cop if he ever was involved in shooting anybody and she said he has never been involved in shooting at criminals. And he is retired and living a happy life in Oregon now. So for many years as a cop, his weapon stood him in good standing.
