Doesn't matter though. The GOP controls the majority of things other than the WH. They are not spiraling the drain by any stretch of the imagination. It has been a flaw of the DNC as long as I have been alive. There are man y places the DCCC/DNC doesn't provide any real support to candidates unless the seat is open or the candidate has basically already won it on their own by their own hard work. They spend too much money on show pony races and big blue areas, and the WH instead of developing, promoting, and funding down ticket candidates. They largely have written off the South and Midwest even though there are a lot of solid performance districts in those places because even if their candidates win, they are not liberal enough for their liking.
