What do you know about the Vietnam War?

LBJ's plan apparently centered on giving up American lives to take real estate and and going back to base for beer parties. Just when the V.C. was finally out of troops and options, LBJ gave up the fight on national TV.

Allowing These Immigrants Was an Insult to Vets

The Boat People were Chickenhawks. The South Vietnamese were cowards, crooks, and collaborators. Defending that trash made us lose the war, which never should have been nation-building but strictly to destroy North Vietnam.
Not all of them were chickenhawks. When my mom was still alive she used to go to the local Community Center as part of a Senior Lunch program. She met a lot of retired Vietnamese folks who fought on the side of the South in the war. They told her war stores about fighting the North and proudly serving alongside US soldiers. They hated the Communists and to them, it would always Saigon and NOT Ho Chi Minh City!

When San Jose created a Vietnamese shopping center and neighborhood, they were originally going to call it "Vietnam Town" and not "Little Saigon" due to an excess of PC. There were protests and a hunger strike that forced the city to change the name.

What did North Vietnam ever do to the US for you wanting it destroyed?

They fought for the US and probably the French Colonialists, can't you see that's the problem? same as the Vichy French fighting for the Nazis.

Yeah, so?

I was referring to the dictators running the country
So was i, are you telling me those leaders don't value the lives of their people, they peobably value them more than the US or the UK or they wouldn't have sacfriced so many of their people in illegal wars.

I disagree

The CCP that rules china is very abusive of the chinese people

Neither the US or UK harvest organs from political prisoners the way the CCP does in china

Any evidence they harvest organs? you are confusing them with Ukrainians and the KLA in Kosovo stop lying.

As always with communist movements it became fascist state. They got rid of one group of Big Corp and replaced it with another group of Big Corp. The war against Totalitarianism is always a noble cause. Those American soldiers died for a noble cause.
They died for clothes on sale from Nam at Kohl's. Everyone cheer now.

There has always been those who make their fortune on war going back to the begining of civilization. At the root of the Vietnam conflict was Democracy versus Totalitarianism. Power of the people versus the power in the hands of a few will always be at the root of any conflict military or political in these modern times.

The really weird thing to me is that communist Vietnam became the good guys a few years later, invading Cambodia and driving Pol Pot from power.

Its been reported

This was also reported and far more credible, probably some EU officials were involved.

Why are you telling me this when the topic is forced organ harvesting in china?

You are obsessed with Communism, the Vietnam war was always more about National liberation from Colonialism and Imperialism which you seem to be a fan of, Vietnam was divided by the UN as a temporary measure with the Geneva accords in 1954 with the intention of a referendum on unifying the Country which Ho Chi Mihn would have won, the Southern puppets and their handlers made sure it never went ahead, those vietnamese you talk of were a disgrace quislings to the French then the Americans they don't deserve to live in Vietnam that thousands fought and died to liberate from French Colonialists the Japanese and the US, General Giap was the guy who liberated Vietnam, in historical tems you guys were just passing through into the dustbin of History.
Total Communist propaganda and nonsense. If memory serves, I've corrected you on these myths before, but you just keep repeating them.

It was the Hanoi regime that torpedoed the election by refusing to allow impartial UN supervision of the election. That was the major reason that South Vietnam and the U.S. did not sign the Geneva Accords, and that was why both nations rejected the sham election that North Vietnam wanted to hold in 1956. South Vietnam was perfectly willing to hold a genuine election supervised by the UN, but the Communists rejected this. The idea that Ho Chi Minh's brutal regime would have allowed a fair, clean election is preposterous.

The Vietnam War happened because North Vietnam invaded South Vietnam, in brazen violation of the Geneva Accords and the UN charter.

General Giap "liberated" Vietnam?! Huh, did Lenin and Stalin "liberate" Russia? Did Mao "liberate" China? I guess your version of "liberate" means to impose a brutal, godless tyranny that murders hundreds of thousands of people to come to power and to maintain power.

For all its faults, South Vietnam was far, far less repressive and more democratic than North Vietnam. There is no comparison.

I document all of these facts in my new book Reclaiming the Vietnam War: The Betrayal of South Vietnam, endorsed by noted Vietnam War scholars Dr. Mark Moyar and Bill Laurie.

No i've corrected you, as for South Vietnam they collaborated with Colonialism and Imperialism, it's that simple.

There are plenty of reports if you care to look

Here is one:

Like i say unfounded reports, it's a tactic they use like assad used chemical weapons when in fact it was Western backed terrorists who used them or fabricated fake accounts.
