So what did we learn today? We learned that neither Boner or Ryan could control the real conservatives in the party. The job of Speaker is now something only a fool would want and remember, Ryan had to be talked into taking it. And now we see why. And we see why Ryan thought he could pull a Pelosi, write a bill in a locked room, and ram it down the party's throats. Ryan was also Mitt's VP candidate and all of this may well be an ambush of the populist Trump. Ryan's concession speech sounded a little too glib and rehearsed. But what's been lost really? Let the Rats cackle and try to fist-bump, what else do they have in life but to cheer successful people hitting roadblocks?
