What do tattoos on women really say?

Tattoos are trashy. Perhaps a small one in a discreet place could be OK, but women who have tats up and down their arms might as just get a sign that says “I’m low-class trash.”

As an aside, it is also against the Jewish religion. Gd created beautiful bodies, and we don’t need to “improve” on His work, or, in my religion’s view, desecrate one’s body.
Blah, blah, blah,

Again you only proof that you got no clue about Israel and Jews.

I have never seen a tattoo on anyone and thought. "Wow, that looks great!"

Just looks trashy to me.

In 1967 I had hair down to my ass and wore bell bottomed striped pants with a Nehru jacket along with a denim raiload engineer's hat. I was 19 and that was cool. Those accoutrements are long gone. Things are different today. Tattoos are permanent fixtures that leave scars if removed. It is not an intelligent choice.

Not your call. I'm not really a fan either (I have none) but it's none of my business what others do here.

I agree.

The guys here want to see that 1967 photo.

As a man, I look at my body and think "why would I want to put a bumper sticker on a Rolls Royce"?
In 1998 my brother and I were driving in Sacramento when we saw a brand new Rolls-Royce Corniche convertible on the street ahead of us. We hurried to catch up so we could take a good look. When we got close I noticed that the Rolls had a bumper sticker which read, "My Other Car is a Porsche."

I'm not a fan of tattoos but what young men and women choose to do as far as
1) tattoos
2) getting married or staying single
3) having kids or choosing not to

Are all none of anybody business except theirs. We are past the days of graduating and people getting married and having kids in their 20's, wash rinse repeat. Young people are feeling less responsibility to follow the old way and are pursuing other venues. It's not a bad thing in any way.

What do tattoos on women really say?

Based upon my experiences after complimenting women with tattoos, I would say women like their tattoos and enjoy having them noticed as they like to explain what each and every one of them is and what they mean.

My comment to them sometimes began with me saying, "nice tatts". (Even though I prefer no tatts as I like the look of all natural skin, sans tatts.) I can't imagine disrespecting something so beautiful, by having skin inked. Just personal preference. I did once consider having the nape of my neck inked with a small bird. Then, I thought, "why?" To be noticed? No thanks, I'll forego the nape idea. lol

.

I noticed a large tattoo on a woman's upper arm that was so poorly done that, if it hadn't had the name written underneath it -- Blanche Deveraux -- I would never have known.

But the woman gushed about what a great likeness it was.
