What did Putin get out of the election?

You asked for proof, and I posted it.
No you didn't.

His son flat out said they did a lot of business with Russia. How is that not proof? I got an idea, let's prove it from his tax records? Oh yeah we can't do that, he won't release them.
That is proof that he did business with Russians, which is not illegal. That isn't proof that he would personally benefit from sanctions being lifted.
It would be proof if it were not a lie. His son said they had many Russians who wanted to invest in Trump projects, but none of these projects have even been in Russia.

His son never said that. What he said was that a great many Russian investors wanted to invest in Trump projects. None of these projects has ever been in Russia so it is untrue to say Trump did business with Russia. So there is no honest rational basis for alleging Trump would benefit from lifting the sanctions.

From the article:

Q: What about investments from Russia in Trump’s businesses?

A. There is strong evidence that Trump’s businesses have received significant funding from Russian investors. Most notably, Trump’s son Donald Trump Jr. made that very claim at a real estate conference in New York in 2008, saying “Russians make up a pretty disproportionate cross-section of a lot of our assets.” Donald Trump Jr. added, “we see a lot of money pouring in from Russia.”

You understand "assets" is a tangible thing right? He didn't say Future assets. He said assets. Also note he said, "we see a lot of money pouring in from Russia." He didn't say, "we should" or "we could" see a lot of money pouring in from Russia. It's in the present tense.

Not a good reader? It asks about Russian investors in Trump's businesses not doing business in Russia. There is no honest, rational way you can go from private Russian investors in Trump projects outside of Russia to claiming Trump would profit from lifting the sanctions.

Here is a list of people and business entities sanctioned by the USG. Feel free to point out from your articles which of them is doing business with Trump and how that business relationship is affected by the sanctions.

So he does business with Russia? Who cares? Check out who your Government does business with sometime. Then get back to us.
I don't care if he does business with Russians, dummy. It is being alleged that lifting sanctions would benefit Trump personally. I am just asking for evidence.

So what? You supported the corrupt witch and her serial rapist husband. You're in no position to cast stones. So ou can hop of your high horse now. You don't possess any moral high ground on this issue.

I wouldn't say serial rapist too loudly. Comrade President-elect Trump may sue you.

You just supported the most corrupt Presidential Candidate in history, yet you seriously believe you can preach to others about corruption? Sorry, not buyin it. The corrupt Clintons have always been above the law. And now it's Trump's turn. Y'all hypocrites are just gonna have to deal with it.

Until the GOP impeaches him. They really...REALLY want Pence as President.

So you honestly believe that by getting rid of sanctions against Russia that Trump isn't going to benefit financially from that? You truly believe that?

Neither you nor I have any reason to believe he would profit from it. On the other hand, the whole world will benefit from improved relations between the US and Russia. This relationship is the key to ending the war in Syria and the conflicts in eastern Europe, and it will, of course, involve ending the sanctions.

And you don't care about the human rights violations the Russians are committing, and the fact they are helping North Korea and ignoring other UN sanctions?

Now you are just making things up. Setting their internal politics aside, the major human rights violations are taking place in Syria and eastern Europe, and the key to ending them is to negotiate agreements with the Russians that respect their legitimate security concerns. In Syria, they are fighting for Assad in order to hang on to their military bases on the coast. As long as Assad is in power, they can be sure of keeping them, but they have every reason to fear a western backed government that replaces Assad will try to kick them out. What Obama should have done back in 2012 is agree to support Russia keeping its long term leases on the land the military bases occupy in return of dropping support for Assad. Once Assad is gone, it will be in the interests of both the US and Russia to work together to stabilize the region.

Russia also has legitimate security concerns in eastern Europe. Gorbachev liberated the former Soviet satellite states on the promise from Bush41 that the US would prevent them from joining NATO, an organization formed to fight against Russia, but when Bill Clinton entered the WH he broke that promise and had 12 of these states admitted to NATO, thus setting the basis for the deteriorating relations with Russia we and the eastern Europeans are seeing today. Russia is acting today in the same way we did when we saw Soviet influence growing close to our borders. Trump will have to find a way to satisfy Russia's security concerns if he is to end the conflicts there. This will be a more difficult negotiation since there is no easy way to undo Clinton's folly in admitting these states to NATO, but doing so would be of great benefit to Russia, Europe and the US, as well as to most of the eastern European states, so I am optimistic a way can be found.
