What Convicted Felons Do You Know Who Didn't Receive Prison Time Or Fines?

Yeah, that's not how an email server works.
Uh, yeah it is. I have setup lots of email servers for companies.

She was using Microsoft Exchange with an Outlook Web Extension.

The server was in her basement bathroom, and that was where her emails were stored.

Domain names and email server

At the time of Senate confirmation hearings on Hillary Clinton's nomination as Secretary of State, the domain names clintonemail.com, wjcoffice.com, and presidentclinton.com were registered to Eric Hoteham,[25] with the home of Clinton and her husband in Chappaqua, New York, as the contact address.[26][27] The domains were pointed to a private email server that Clinton (who never had a state.gov email account) used to send and receive email, and which was purchased and installed in the Clintons' home for her 2008 presidential campaign.[28]

The email server was located in the Clintons' home in Chappaqua, New York, from January 2009 until 2013
, when it was sent to a data center in New Jersey before being handed over to Platte River Networks, a Denver-based information technology firm that Clinton hired to manage her email system.

Any fine would have been just one more reason for the conviction to be overturned.

Basically the case was over a non-crime (as testified in court) and the felony conviction was bogus from the beginning.

Failure to properly enter an expense? The crime of the century? Basically the Dems are trying to make spitting on the sidewalk a capital offense.
All of that is true, of course.

The dems are trying to portray this case as a legitimate judicial action.

Well, the reason we have a Justice System is to:
1. punish bad behavior,
2. to deter others from doing the same thing,
3. and when possible rehabilitate the offender.

Unconditional discharge does none of those things.

Merchan claims the unconditional discharge was out of respect for the Presidency, but his own actions belie that. The purpose was to stigmatize Trump, and impair his ability to do the job of the President. The exact opposite of what Merchan claims...

A question for the left. As I've been waiting for the answer in another thread so I decided to post a new thread about it so more Democrats will see it. I'm already guessing that nobody will have any answers but I thought that I would still try to make a point.
I know someone who was facing 4-6 years. He plead guilty and got...3 years' probation.
