One of my closest friends was a workaholic his entire career. He missed much of his children’s life. He likes to say he can’t take any credit for his children’s success, because he was working all the time.Is it worth it working until 65?
Then his wife died of cancer in her early 60s.
He’s got lots of money, but regrets missing many things over those years.
He did retire in his early 60s and loves retirement, but those regrets linger.
