It has always been that way, and it always will be. the answer is not to destroy the successful but help the rest to achieve success.
you don't help the poor by bringing down the rich---------look up who said that.
you might get it, but you might not.
It has not always been that way. Not all that long ago it was a two percent to 98 %. it is now 1% to 99%. When Ike was Pres, Corps did not own all the government but now they do. Even JFK hoped to stop the total takeover but got killed for trying. We are now in the deepest battles to stop the Elite and we find our government on the side of the rich.
A sad day !!
When I saw how many posts there were, I was worried I was missing out on a debate on what to do about the Ukraine.................................
Instead, we're recreating yet another thread of dozens now, complaining about bankers and the 1%. Are you people so consumed with whether someone somewhere has a yacht, more than the death of people, killed by Russians, and Russian supporters?
Have you become so greedy, so envious, that now a hostile take over by an foreign power into a sovereign country, doesn't really matter in your world?
See, when you can join a thread about hundreds of dead people, and instantly turn to "Yeah well 1% verses the 99%, and bankers a evil".... Dude... you are the greedy person. Greed has blinded you to people dying. That's sick.
And you are not even rational in your debate. The reference to the 1% is the top one percent of income earners. The top 1%, was the top 1% back in the 1970s, 1950s, 1900s, 1850s, 1800, and even back for the last 5000 years. The only difference today is that we know who they are. Back in the 1800s, or 1700s, we didn't know who was the most wealthy, so we didn't have envious greedy people whining about it.
So where this idea came from that before it was the 2% to the 98%... No... the top 1% was more wealthy, than the second 1% back then too. It's called math. It doesn't change based on political dogma.
