What are some of your favorite chocolate bars?

Though I personally don't consider white chocolate to be chocolate in the truest sense...

It's not. White Chocolate is mostly sugar. No chocolate in it.

Ghirardelli 86% cacao.

I have tried a number of these high content chocolate bars and while, I like them, I can't justify the prices--Dubai chocolate is a good case --- I can't imagine ANY chocolate that is worth $14 for one candy bar.

I'm really surprised that no one has mentioned Ghirardelli, Ferrero, or Godiva chocolates.

That's all the wife will eat. There is one other brand of rounds similar to that also. Anything else is a waste. She wo t touch it

Mine include Nestle's Crunch, Snickers, Milky Way, Hershey and Three Musketeers.

This would be my list, except instead of Snickers, replace it with the candy bar named Krackle which is found in a bag of Hershey's miniatures.

Sacrilege! Hershey's Milk Chocolate is one of the greatest chocolates invented in this country, the city of Hershey, almost like a holy place, that I encourage all who have not visited, to make the pilgrimage at least once, and breath deep the aroma that wafts across this great American city that chocolate built.

There was a Hershey plant in Oakdale CA for a long time. They closed it maybe 20 years ago and moved the operation to Mexico. I believe it didn't work for them, but I don't know for sure. The plant is still in Oakdale, but they make Jordan almonds there now among other things.
