This is because women have been indoctrinated into believing that they can't give birth without supervision.

I've known three women who've had their babies at home, without the help of anyone but their husbands.

I live in a very impoverished area , where many women can't afford a clean , neat hospital birth with all the 'fixings', many don't even get the prenatal care they should.....

And so yeah, it's often the whole 'walton's mountain' gig, until it's a breach, aspirating meconium , twins , or whatever other gestational manifestation

I can remember as an EMT being called in for so many of these 'gone astray' births , trying to get the ER through the mountains on the radio (Mf*ckers never worked when ya needed them!) , desperately trying to keep my game face on , telling hubby to go boil water.......

I probably looked more like Butteryfly McQueen in Gone w/the wind >>>


That said , i always looked at it all as women being co-creators with God , they really deserve better, JM old has been HO

Been saying this for years. Any state that allows abortion should immediately remove any law that forces men to supply child support.

That makes no sense at all. Did you forget divorce?

No they don’t. They are held responsible financially for 18 years in every state.

What about the women tricking guys into getting pregnant, saying they are on birth control then stopping it without telling the guy, so they get pregnant.. lets make that a law, the guy isn’t responsible if being tricked into fathering a child.. if that was women it was being done to, they would twist and misconstruct it into being a form of rape.. you know it.

Granted, but those complications all happened before the "doctors" started scaring women into believing that they needed hospitals.

What's more tragic, a child that dies in childbirth, a child that dies when a car smashes into it while it chases a ball into the street or a teenager that dies of fentanyl poisoning? Seems that we have a lot to learn about preventing most tragedies.

Life's tough.

Had I ever been in the position of giving birth, I would probably do it the way my grandma did.

Child support laws were established when women had no choice but to deliver. That however is no longer the case. And as we all know from the same sex marriage debate, sex has nothing to do with procreation.
