The main focus of people's concerns is what is going on in their home countries. I don't know that anywhere in the Christian faith in all of its variations around the world, that men are required to wear certain clothing. This is a shame. Then Christian men would face the same choice and understand the matter better. The first thing that I ditched when I got disgusted with Roman Catholicism was my headgear in church, because the issue was presented to me as a requirement of the faith, and I found it to be total bullshit.

I don't think that there is any requirement in the Jewish faith that men wear yarmulkes. Most of the NT stuff was written by men who were into bullying and subjugating women, as they were products of the society from which they came, which encouraged this behavior, so I would take their writings with a ton of salt.

Obviously, there can be no writings produced by people who, over centuries, were deliberately kept illiterate and uneducated.

Obviously, there could have been no "preaching" by people who were banned from speaking in church and essentially walled out of it. Catholic institutions were always given an opportunity to opt out. Regular business law applies to regular businesses, which are required to pay for all sorts of things. They still have to pay if they employ a Catholic guy who knocks his wife up every year for how many years just because he knows how to have sex. So do the taxpayers. This is equally, if not more "parasitic." We should demand that these Catholics (and those others indulging in similar behavior) pay all the costs of their conduct. I've paid exorbitant school taxes for many years, and then we are all called upon to pay the cost of educating all of the results of any time a Catholic guy gets laid.

And yes, people are trying to stop people from terminating their pregnancies. Look at all of the state laws aimed at requiring waiting periods, forced "counseling" with private organizations that are not even subject to HIPAA and nobody is familiar with the background of the "counselors," requiring unnecessary medical procedures, and imposing "safety" standards at clinics where abortions are performed that are not imposed on medical facilities in which more potentially dangerous medical procedures are performed.

Actually, the U.S. should do what other advanced countries do and make birth control available at public-run clinics and provide a thorough, fact-based sex education to their kids. Preventing unwanted pregnancy is a big problem for millions of Americans every day. The willful blindness among our "leaders" to this fact is inexcusable.
