Well, it's official

The US has voted with Russia in a UN resolution, and against Ukraine.

U.S. votes against a U.N. resolution urging Russia's withdrawal from Ukraine

We're now on Putin's side. We're the bad guys, comrades.
What a childish and limited view.

One can easily vote against a UN “resolution” about Russia without being on Putin’s “side.” If the President sees such finger-pointing as being deleterious to HIS ongoing efforts to negotiate a peaceful end to that war, he is free to vote against the resolution. )Probably more about the phrasing than about the truth of the matter.)

Personally, it seems clear that Russia — which did invade the sovereign nation of Ukraine — is primarily responsible for the war. But negotiating peace deals isn’t made any easier when you have to deal with meaningless UN “resolutions.”

In a win for Ukraine on the third anniversary of Russia's invasion, the U.N. General Assembly on Monday refused to approve a U.S.-backed resolution that urged an end to the war without mentioning Moscow's aggression. Instead, it approved a European-backed Ukrainian resolution demanding Russia immediately withdraw its forces, which the Trump administration opposed.

History will take notice

Never thought I would see the day when the US sides with Russia against the world

Welcome to TRUMP America
No one should be surprised.

You've seen me refer to these MAGAidiots here on USMB as "Russia First" for almost the entirety of Biden's term due to their anti-American rhetoric.

They're just now getting to enact it.

Let's see how long this dalliance w/fascism lasts in America.

I dont understand why adding the wording of saying russia was the aggressor on this, would keep us from voting on our own amendment.
Maybe its a negotiation thing?

Why does the OP and the article differ on the voting? Mac says we voted with russia, when we clearly didnt. We didnt vote at all.
We will label this "Fake News"
