I have to laugh at this. Black unemployment stays double that of whites no matter what and that is not racism, but a single black person gets a job in a business with white employees and it's racism because a white person thinks, with no evidence, that they are trying to force her out for someone black.

Thank you, that was exactly my point: not that blacks aren't or can't be qualified, but that it was suspicious for them to be the "only" qualified applicants, particularly in an area where they make up such a small percentage of the population.

Qualified people can be found in all colors, sexes and religions. It’s up to the employer to decide who they want. Some are more sympathetic to minority communities and want to help their causes. Those who perpetuate the whitewash are probably going to get some flack given the racial tension and history in this country. We are going through a long phase of correction

The problem with this thread is that the person starting this thread wouldn't bat an eye of all the candidates had been white. She doesn't know how many minority candidates were turned down, or anything else. She did not see the resumes and has just assumed a bunch of things based on her personal issues. Why couldn't the top 3 candidates end up being 2 blacks and a person who was part Asian? Why is she judging black hires like she did in the OP. You can't get hired if you do not meet BFOQ.
