We should remove all World War II Memorials because they might offend Japanese and German Americans

WWII memorials aren't monuments to white supremacy, or anything bad.

You suck at this.
we took out an entire japanese city with a nuke and there is no white supremacy? too funny.

No one should ever be offended by anything.

We melted lots of innocent Japanese civilians with 2 nukes.

We should erase from our history anything having to do with WWII!

Actually we should remove anything of any kind that glorifies war.

War is the ultimate human failure. The idea is supposed to be to avoid it, not go back in doing it over and over expecting different results.

Considering periods of conflict are usually more prevalent then periods of peace, one would think war might be the basest form of human nature.

War is merely the continuation of politics by other means.

And slavery was the continuation of business economics by other means. Doesn't mean we should go back down that road.

it was actually one business model, serfdom being another. You can't compare economic models used here and there with the political construct of warfare that is found in every society throughout history.

Sure you can. Because slavery too was found worldwiide --- which stops short of the absolutism of "every society throughout history", which would be a fallacy for both points. But slavery and war both sprang up independently on every continent except Antarctica, and that's only because penguins aren't racists and don't have access to guns.

America's success in WWII was a triumph of freedom and democracy over Nazis and Imperialist Japanese.

It is worthy of celebration.

The Confederacy was all about the preservation of slavery. It does not deserve glorification.

Got it now, tards?

I can't believe this actually had to be explained to you.
well actually it was about property and a way of life difference. economics to be clear. And the north had slaves and for you to ignore that is simply libturdiness.

It was part of many societies but not all, and most of it wasn't Chattel Slavery. In Roman Slavery it was more of a class than anything, and some slaves rose to great levels of power.

And your last statement is just silly.

You snowflakes sure have your panties in a wad about the statues honoring those who tried to destroy the United States being removed.

Libbies are feelers and not fighters so they don't accomplish much thus they wail about removals of symbols of people who do and have
Started with manger scenes and Christmas trees, now this, and I am pretty sure they want to place their own symbols like two ghetto rats butt fuck*ng each other

It is hard to believe some folks are apparently educated by Steven Speilberg movies and think a rational person would go to war to help plantation owners. :p That said, slavery in America was the best thing to happen to afro-americans. Not so good for Whitey obviously. The jewish slave traders need to be sued!

I think you have it backwards

To be comparable to the Confederacy (who lost and were evil) we would have to have monuments to the Nazis and Japanese who we fought and defeated in WWII

I don't have any of those monuments in my town...do you?
