Congress desperately needs more representatives from working-class backgrounds, including those who are military veterans. Unfortunately, most veterans currently serving in Congress are foreign policy hawks who want to keep the war machine running.

We had plenty of wars. Near all in the Western Hemisphere. However, the fiat currency allows external defense nation agreements, quick mobilization and as we saw after a few decades, undeclared police actions. It legitimized permanent war as the owners of the Federal Reserve have centuries of making wars as owners of other fiat currencies.
