Libruls would love a new Constitution being that hate freedom. NO, WE DO NOT NEED A NEW CONSTITUTION.

The people who wrote it, would like to re-write, using what's been learned in the last 230 years. See how that works Gynslinger?

You talk to dead people Paintyourtoesies?

Yeah, it's a process called reading used on something called history. I know it's unknown to your kind, obviously...

Look at the leaders of today and ask yourself do you really want or trust them to rewrite the Constitution. Call it my cynical nature when it comes to our current leaders but I feel pretty safe in saying any rewrite would give more power and control to the government and less to the individual.
They wouldn't be the ones I'd have rewrite it...

Who is out there you do trust to rewrite it? I can of no person or group to rewrite it that would not do so in a way to benefit them and their own belief system.

ROFLMAO You're a kook.. You've read history so you can discern and read the minds of dead people- how they would feel some 227 yrs later..:lol::cuckoo:

There are still decent people in the world, you just don't know of any. They aren't on Fox...

No constitution alone can change the nature of a government. With any conceivable rewrite the plutocracy will still rule, there will still be the same social structures and income stratification. Try to change any of that and we will find out right quick that a constitution is fine and dandy but money really rules America.

Better question is who's ready to give up on democracy and try a benevolent dictatorship so things that need to get done get done?

I'm all good with that at this point. For the love of god let's start getting something, anything, done again...

Yet you couldn't name any you just threw out the childish slap at Fox.

Oh but I could, but you wouldn't like any of them. They're all educated.

The true mindset of liberals shows in this thread.. Now mind you, if a Conservative were President the attitudes would change and then liberals would be against tyranny.. as it stands, we can see who supports tyranny right now.

So I assume your constitution would not include free speech.

Why the hell not? Do you think what you morons say scares me? The best solution to nonsense is to let people shout it from the rooftops.

There is no tyranny here, you morons just think that, we just aren't getting shit done. I care very little who own the White House but I prefer my bastards to yours, that's all.

Yes there should be. It should include the RESPONSIBITIES of the citizenry as well as their Rights. It should severely limit the powers of Government beyond the specifically enumerated powers. It should explicitly state those Rights pertain to American Citizens in the US only. Foreigners in the US or Americans abroad have no expectation of those protections.

Those who say "we need to follow the one we got" should realize a Constitution that isn't enforced perhaps means it needs better enforcement provisions.

No, child, that's not the way it works. Laws must be obeyed and respected because those governed by them understand and agree on their importance and necessity. Laws imposed by force against the will of those governed is never the answer.

And for those who like to take an "all-or-nothing" approach and split hairs about random individuals not wanting to respect the law, my statement applies to those governed in a general, societal sense, not in a 100%-of-all-the-individuals sense, so don't even start.
